Ben needs to work on chemistry with James Washington more

Washington is lighting it up in preseason again because he has chemistry with Dobbs and Rudolph. I saw this tweet about snap breakdown and why? I'm sorry but Moncrief has shown me nothing so far. JW is going to be the key to if this offense can keep up production without AB.

Donte Moncrief and James Washington are going to have a lot of playing time this year no matter what if they play well.

 

Moncrief spreading the field will be paramount to JuJu & Washington.

 

That link you posted says James Washington only had one snap in the second preseason game. I wouldn’t call that lighting it up. He had a great first preseason game yes. We haven’t seen him play with Ben yet this year.

Plus how do you know what they are or aren’t working on together and practice? Wasn’t Washington one of the guys that Ben had out to his lake house in Georgia earlier this year?

 

He had one snap with the first team offense. I don't recall seeing him involved until late in the half when MR was just about done and Dobbs was coming in. Moncrief has been dealing with the finger injury so he had limited snaps as well. Not sure what he is driving at either Glenn.

Who knows what his motive is. Probably just his typical knee-jerk reactions.

 

My point is.. Another year of Washington lightning it up with the back-ups. Last year Ben complained about their chemistry and not trusting him to be where he needs to be. JW is #2 in preseason yards and getting 1 snap to Moncriefs 9 with the ones? Diontae Johnson got more than him!? Something isn't adding up. He has perfect chemistry with Dobbs and Rudolph. Dare I say Ben doesn't like him because he's best friends with Bens competition? I don't know but this doesn't make sense to me. I haven't seen any videos from camp of Ben and JW working on their chemistry.

 

Week 1 saw most of the 2nd tier guys getting the bilk of the work. Washington got a lot of work. Juju didn't play and Moncrief was held out. Wk 2 the starters got a couple of series. So juju, moncrief and switzer start, next is Washington, Rogers, and DJ with the thirds being Spencer, Rielly, Griffey, and so on but still no Ben. I get what you are trying to say but it is how Tomlin does things. I hate it some times too. In all honesty until the sparks fly between Ben and Washington I think the pass distribution will go Juju, Conner, Mac, Switzer and the remaining to either Moncrief or Washington.

 

Has Ben played in the first 2 preseason games?

Yeah I know. How is Ben getting blamed for Washington's playing time/snaps/targets when Ben isn't even on the field. 95% of the stuff @SDOT posts is Paranoid nonsense.
I'd also still like to get an explanation on the Big fake Boycott.

 

LOL. I called him out on the boycotts about a dozen and a half times. I anticipate 3 more boycotts this season. Wonder what the over/under is on SDOT's Boycotts this season. Say 3.5?
