Doesn't matter. If we can't beat the Browns without Ben, without Woodley, and without Pouncy, then we don't deserve the bye.

I had said a while back that I thought Ben needed to get some reps in, just not play the whole game. Not sure I feel that way any more. Ben really needs the rest, as do 53 and 56.

Regarding the Browns going after Ben...really folks?! These are all professional athletes, not kids on a playground. Just because all the radio personalities and fans in Cleveland want the players to go after Ben, do you really think that happens. That's like saying that Kimo but the hurt on Palmer on purpose back in 2005's opening round. Grow up folks. This does not happen.

As much as I wish I could agree with you...
I would have to say that it Damn sure does happen!
The "kimo" reference, is a bit of a different story...
That truly WAS an accident, IMHO...
However, if the Clowns weren`t trying to get some revenge, (even on our qb), for Harrisson, knocking THREE of them out, with concussions, within the last two years, they shouldn`t be playing the game,
    AND,
The game has changed to a degree, that I would hate to see!
Sure, they can`t admit it, or come out in the media, and say it like that...
Even to the degree that one of their LB`s said a couple seasons ago...
"Kill the head and the body`s dead"...
Talking about taking a cheap shot to the head of Ben...
And yes, that "forearm injury" that Jaball Sheard has, is a direct result of him throwing a 70`s style forearm to Ben`s head, last game...
Yer Damn right, they are gonna be "out for blood"...
And I wouldn`t want it any other way!
Can`t worry about that. It`s what the game SHOULD be!
We start Ben.. get a 27 point lead, by halftime, then let our backups finish the job!!!
    This is still FOOTBALL, people!!!!
Whether Rodge likes it or not!!!
I would hope our players would be smart enough to retaliate against a Brown`s player that hurt three of our players in the last couple games(if they had anyone capable of that), without drawing penalties, or announcing it beforehand, too!!!
    I know,
Its hard to hit anyone hard, period, without drawing a flag...
    But,
Saying your gonna do it ahead of time, just GUARANTEES that you will get thrown out when you do!
Expect them to try and hurt our players this game...
But don`t begrudge them for doing it...
It`s what I would expect us to do, if we were the "victims", the last 15 games or so!
Our boys ain`t gonna be scared to get in a fight...
Matter of fact, I bet they want a fight...
They know they will win it!!! :swordsman: :herewego:

    Is Ben's ankle healed?

    Can he run?

If not, SIT THE FUDGE DOWN! We can win this with charlie.

Agreed. The risk doesn't outweigh the reward. If I had to pick between the #5 seed and a healthy Ben vs the #2 seed and an injured Ben, I'd take the five seed. Sit Ben, start Batch, and beat the Browns.

Are you serious? Ask any professional athlete, if they know someone is hurting you can bet your ass they are going after him. I'm not talking dirty cheap shots but it's blood in the water. I hear Mike Golic talk about this all the time, Schlereth too. If there's a weakness they are going to attack it.

Are you the only NFL fan in the world that hasn't heard players say that if someone is injured that the injury becomes a target?
