Shaner, don't get me wrong, I'm not calling you out or claiming that I'm some kind of elite athlete. But, having had a couple concussions, one falling off a horse and another jumping off a balcony as a teenager, there can be lingering affects from a head injury that show up at unpredictable times. I can see how someone could get cleared to play but not exactly be "all there" so to speak. Just like a muscle or bone bruise could flare up, maybe it could be similar with a "brain bruise" but I'm not a doctor, so who knows?

Can't end on a defensive penalty. If it's on the Steelers, it's either burn a timeout (if they have one) OR a mandatory ten-second run-off.

My girlfriend's son sustained a concussion from a bicycle crash 4-5 years ago. He still randomly (and very infrequently) passes out, as recently as a couple months ago.

Man, hate to hear that. Very scary. Hoping he fully recovers.

That is a concussion that didn't fully heal properly. If Conner is still having symptoms, for example, that means he isn't fully healed.

Please don't try to tell me what I would have done in some hypothetical situation. At that point, you are just making stuff up. Let's try to deal with reality, not the fiction you create. Thank you.

Also, your fiction is absolutely incorrect. In the scenario you made up, that wouldn't be Tomlin's fault, so I certainly wouldn't call for his head.

You can dislike calls all you want. I like calls that work and those play calls worked.

A concussion is kind of like a rip in the front of a pair of underwear. You sew it up, test it, and declare they’re out of protocol. But put them on the next morning and you might, at some point, feel compelled to strongly disagree.

Fair enough. Maybe I was wrong. My concussions have never been like that. Once I was healed fully, I had no effects

Do you know what's kind of nice? Having someone on the internet tell me I'm wrong without calling me an idiot, telling me my mother is a whore and then suggesting I kill myself. Feels almost weird lol

Ah... humble pie. A dish, with the secret ingredient of introspection, is best served with honesty.

At 1:35, Jalen dodges the comments regarding the GQ article. At 2:03, he shuts down the reporter all together. :lolol:

I actually give him credit for this response. For someone who came up with that stuff in GQ, he shows a surprising amount of media savviness here.

He made sure he went over to Allen after the game to talk to him in a positive way. I was very impressed to see that.
