Ben Roethlisberger limping badly in #Steelers locker room. Right knee looks swollen. Struggling to put on socks.

It was only a matter of time. Ben will not play every game this season. I'm surprised he's lasted these four games with this horrendous offensive line. Mike Adams and Marcus Gilbert should pay Ben medical bills.

DeCastro is weak. And Foster is average at best. Velesco is about as good as we can get and he's been on the team two weeks.

I thought he was limping way earlier than that last play, but we'll see what happens with this. I've always hoped bye week would make a difference, but it seems like each year they come back and I'm disappointed by how they look when they return. I don't have the stats in front of me and it's just gut feeling, but I always am glad to see bye week (well, except for the lack of a game) then angry when it doesn't look like it's changed anything.

Ben had a limp to his walk at the home game against the Browns last December. He is more beat up than some realize.

I heard that Ben has the DSB 'cause his wife won't give him any until we win a game! I saw it on twitter, it must be true!

The Rooney's get what they pay for and what or who they hire! If they are going to pony up and pay the QB $100 million, then do whatever is necessary to protect his ass! Ben is not without fault, like run and slide, throw the ball away, etc but when you put a horrid o-line around him for years which means that you can't run the ball or protect your $100 million investment AND you fire or let Arians go AND you hire that idiot Haley, then what the hell do you expect, seriously? ANY QB would have his career basically ended by now, but Ben's toughness and elusiveness has allowed him to stay around this long! Oh and by the way, if your defense can't sack anyone or create any turnovers, maybe it's time for Lebeau to hang it up! IF the Rooney's want to see this salvaged, they fire Haley in the next day or two, they need to TELL Lebeau to stop playing your corners 10 yards off the ball AND by the way, go back to teaching your defenders on HOW to tackle! The tackling or lack thereof today was simply embarrassing! If they don't at LEAST fire Haley this week, I will check my fan card in at the door until next year and I'm serious. Call me fair weather if you want, but if you invest $100 million dollars in the QB, you better do whatever is necessary to make him happy and it's NO secret that he loved Arians (he had his faults too!) and you fire Haley because Ben hates Haley! Period! Ben makes more money than Brady does...are your fricken serious!

If they are not on the waiver wire looking at potential Left tackles at this time, they will get any quarterback killed by the end of the season.

    Good Post.

People here just do not realize that The Pats got lucky with Brady and the Colts used a #1 pick for Manning. Ben is as good as it gets for a QB other than exceptional.

Haley should have had the attitude to get along with Ben.

Haley's abundance of short plays suck; those types of plays should be change-ups from running and actually throwing, not the staples of the offense. That said there are more problems beyond the offensive coordinator.

Quite honestly, Haley's offense finally seems to be showing some signs of life the last couple of games. It's been the defense that's let us down.

This game anyway. When you turn the ball over as much as they did against Chicago, I just don't think you can point a finger at the defense. Offense has been playing better though.

Quick question about a booth review in the final two minutes. I know any turnover gets reviewed but can they call a penalty on the play after reviewing it? On one of the replays it looked like Ben was hit on the head before the fumblecan they spot that on the booth review and call it?

Penalties or un-called penalties are not subject for review on any play.
