    Getting under the knife still does not help. In addition... keep in mind that 1 to 3 weeks is still 0-2 at the most..

    Appropos of nothing:

    I've had the exact same injury, and chosen not to have surgery. 15 years later I'm still mobile...

    I think the 1-3 week timetable is applicable. Craig Kimbrel of the Red Sox had the same thing this year, and healed more quickly than predicted.

    What really sucks is the timing- because he misses the Pats game AND the Ravens game AGAIN. How many Ravens games has he missed now?

    Yep he is gonna miss the two games the Steelers really can't afford to have him miss. It does sound like he should be back by the Dallas game on November 13th but by then we could be looking at a 4-4 record. Landry is gonna have a short leash I'm sure if he stinks. Mettenberger was signed for a reason so hopefully they turn to him if Jones struggles.
