Now let's hope for the D to play like they've played the last few weeks and for the line to keep Ben's jersey clean :)

O-line gave Chuck loads of time for the most part against the birds..if they protect Ben the same God Ben will pick them appart.. just need to have someone catch the balls...hopefully Heath, Cotchery along with deepball Wallace and some magic from Plex will get it done.

i just hope the oline didnt try just a bit harder knowing they had a fragile Batch back there and when Ben is back they relax a bit.

Say what you will but i still don't think Ben is totally healed we know Ben is tough as nails and if he had some pain he wouldn't share it even though CT was pleased in his performance. The O-line needs to keep this in mind. I'm sure during practice he wasn't tested with force that he could recieve in sundays game. lets hope and pray he stays upright and clean!

I'm with you, I don't think he's totally healed either, I'm basing this on some stuff I read online. I'm not a doctor nor have I personlly seen him or monitored his progress or medical results, but I still think I know more than they do!

Ben (or any player for that matter) doesn't need to be totally healed to play. He is a starter and if he is cleared to play, he plays.

No QB is hit in practice as hard as they are hit during the games.

Well exactly when will he be??? If he is not good to play now then he should retire and go on with his life

He needs to be 100 percent, nothing less.

Disagree. How many starters (let alone franchise QBs) are on the field that aren't 100%, especially at this point in the season?

Come on Scott you know I don't believe that. I was just razzing the keyboard doctors that think they know better than the real docttors what's best for Ben.

Ben needs to do a few things to help himself also. for example ; if the pass play breaks down and isn't there, throw the ball away. If your in the process of getting sacked, go down right away and don't fight it. (like brady & manning go down - very easy). If he scrambles to extend a play, do it quick or throw it away. Ben doesn't scramble as much as he did when he started in the league. He is older and slower now. Ben needs to play smarter or his career is going to come to an end.

Not at all what I'm talking about TE. Talking about those who say players should sit another week even after the have been cleared to play by the doctor and coach.

I think they are just afraid of losing him for the rest of the season or longer, I can understand that but for me, as long as he is out of danger with the rib thing, I want him out there.
