It's a crappy rap song (haven't heard it but am assuming this based on previous ones). Not sure why anyone cares about it.

It's all about guaranteed money. And, as I recalled, Mr. Rooney stated that we would get Bell signed and it was a priority. Thanks for reminding me. So, Colbert's stance is good business but, Bell's stance is not good business for him? Fair is fair ...you don't want to pay him ... oh well, a lot more teams will. He is a rare player. If you had offered him 12mil 3yrs ago then you would have him ... not 2yrs ago. He was in a bad situation 3yrs ago. You had him where you wanted him. Now, that you have so called "run the wheels" off of him and showed everyone what he can do ... you dont want to pay him.

I still dont see how this is an ego thing for Colbert? Should GMs just pay anything a player demands?

So...we should have paid him $12 million 3 years ago fresh off of his second drug suspension.

Mr. Rooney did not say he would get Bell signed. He can’t control what Bell does. He said “commited” and “priority”. And he and Colbert have done that.

And they have repeatedly tried to pay him more, way more, than fairly.

This has got to be one of the worst rap songs ever released. The autotune is set to full out and the beats are make you shudder they're so bad.
I couldn't care less about whatever "message" he was trying to convey the song is...man he should be embarrassed. The dude must not have one real friend in the world because if he did they would have told him "No bro! Just no. Do NOT release this. It's terrible!"

I feel sorry for the guy.

So, if he goes on tour is he going to demand sold out concerts as well? What a petulant child this guy is.

There's a LOT of things to rap about ..

Le'Veon chooses to rap about himself. Lame as music.

As for the contract, I guess we will see. He's obviously not optimistic about getting a contract.

Oh well.. head case.. like this should be a surprise to anyone.

    Listen,

Bell is just being crazy and greedy. I don't care if he thinks he is the second best receiver on the team. He is a running back, and he should be paid like one. With the franchise tag, he will be the best paid running back in the league. What if the Steelers sign him long term, and he has an decline in yards and catches. Then we are stuck with a 17 million dollar bone-head. Personally, I think the Steelers should rescind his franchise tag, sign Adrian Peterson and Mychal Kendricks, and still have plenty of money left over to sign someone mid-season if there is an injury. Defense is what killed the Steelers last year and even with the addition of the rookies, they still need help. Peterson showed signs last year at Arizona and will sign cheap to play with a contender.

As a connoisseur of 90s rap music, I can say I do not like this song. To much monotone lyrics and repetitive beats in today's rap. However my 2 sons love this type of rap. They both like the song. So I guess for us older guys we don't like it because it's not for us. Personally I'll take some Tribe Called Quest or Black Moon over any of the rap out there today.

Now onto Bell. This song is the most narcissistic thing I have ever heard. He wrote an entire song about his contract negotiations. What an idiot. Boo hoo. I want 15 mil and they only wanna give me 13 mil. I'm so mad I'm gonna rap about it. I can't wait for this idiot to be off this team.

I rated your thread very optimistic. The chihuahua is a very loyal and intelligent creature.
