Bell needs 459 yards (153 per game) to tie Barry Foster's 1690 yard single season record.

Actually Josh Harris technically closed it today. LOL! Bell is a beast for sure! I suppose that maybe a slight lack of breakaway speed might be his weakness but it's a very minute weakness. I love watching him play. I was actually gonna start a thread near the end of the year comparing him and Lacy since there was quite a debate early on about whether we done the right thing in choosing him or not. I say we absolutely did and it's not even close. I actually think Bell is probably better than Murray. Murray loses yards and fumbles. Bell seems to always go forward and secures the ball.

He can smoke that in three games! No pun intended of course. LOL! I just can't help myself sometimes.

I'd rather he just get what is needed each week to win. This week, he got that. But we want him fresh in the playoffs!

That stat where we had 1 yard from our back up RB this season was hilarious, I thought.

Yeah. Harris is making a strong case to be the backup. It's a pretty good bargaining chip for him to be able to say "well I'm the second highest producing back on the team. PAY ME!" LOL!

Love me some Le'Veon Bell! We're in a rare position where our stud WR is 26 and our stud RB is 22. We can have the top tandem at those positions for as long as we want. Those two are gonna get PAID!

You think we're gonna have to sacrifice some people to make that happen though?

Maybe, but wouldn't you think it would be worth it? AB already makes a bunch (his cap hit is high due to restructures too) so he won't raise our cap a ton even if he gets a good raise in his next deal. Bell is gonna make a bunch, but there will be guys that we pay highly now that won't be around when he signs his new deal (Polamalu). So its not gonna be like we have to gut our team to keep them both.

He will not make it to the end of the season if we don't find a Chang a pace back

He has actually been an incredibly durable player throughout his whole football career. He was durable at Michigan State also. I fully expect him to finish this season.

I don't necessarily agree. For a big guy, he very rarely takes big hits. He's very slippery, and it will definitely keep him from wearing out as quickly. He was supplemented by Blount quite a bit early on the season. He's only got 4-7 games without a back up. He will be fine. We will have a capable backup by next season.

I think he will be OK for the rest of the year. However, if he is injured, our playoff hopes disappear. We should get a big durable back in the draft middle rounds next year.
