Bell / Shazier

Shazier will never play football again and may never even walk.
Bell says he would rather sit out or retire than take $14M (or whatever it is).

Bell is full of crap

 

Bell's statement is just posturing. If he loves the game, he will be back, maybe for only one year, but he will be back.

On offense, we did learn some things yesterday. 1. We learned that the WRs we have can make plays when called upon. 2. We learned our TE can make plays when called upon.

Shazier will never play again, but we need to make some additional changes to the secondary and replace him in the middle of our D. We need a playmaker to be in the middle of that D. He needs to be someone who at times can actually stop Gronk, but also play the run. We REALLY missed him yesterday.

On offense, we realized that we cannot stop the run, even when we know that is what they are doing and that our secondary continues to give up BIG plays time and time again. It cannot continue if we want to win the Super Bowl.
