Isn't he from Cincinnati? Maybe he can run Burfect over with his truck on his way to the Steelers.

Well, after being hopeful at the early reports that it may be just 4 to 6 weeks, then the later reports that it could be worse, it's been a little bit of a roller coaster ride. I'm pretty bummed about Bell being on IR.

At least the standard is the standard.

Meh, all I know is that I signed Pead as a FA once in a Madden Career.

He was ok. If that reassures anyone.

Get well soon Bell. I have faith in Williams, he runs the ball well. I just hope he holds up too.

Just an insurance signing. But then again, maybe it's time to cut ties now and let Bell go. Cut him now! :lolol:

The story with the headline is basically saying Williams performed ok in "spot" duty for Bell. That was just ok what the heck is an outstanding performance?

I have no idea who else is available, so it's no rap on Pead. But is a guy with a total of 19 carries over the last 4 yrs, the best option there is?

I liked Pead when he was coming out. Had a great Senior Bowl IIRC. He can also return kicks.

Pead is a very talented guy, but he never really got a chance in the NFL. He fell out of favour with the Rams early due to attitude and work ethic issues. If he's got his stuff together and will put the work in, he could be a good player for us

Tate really must not have impressed the coaches last year, heard he is trying out with the 49ers today.
