bell hurt

the trouble with it is we have a lot of new parts including coaches to mesh together. when some of the key parts are not there it changes things. it changes things for everyone involved.

I liken this situation more to being like worilds. worilds didn't miss a lot of time during games, but he missed a lot of practice time. could he have gotten better sooner? once he started getting all the reps last year he seemed to turn into a different player. seems missing all that practice time did hinder his development.

I hope all these guys get back soon because these first 6-7 weeks of the season will be huge for this young team. Mitchell is another guy that really needs to get on the field. I don't want 0-4 again we can't afford to start from a hole. yea, it's the first week, but each day counts a lot. timing. meshing. growing. playing on the same page. whatever you want to call it, it's done in practice.

yep heard he came back... went 7 on 7 not 11 on 11.. but at least hes back .. as some have said its only camp .. but in camp you like to work with the guys you are going to work with in the season.. to mesh

Injuries happen, Bell with hammy tightness isn't worrisome. Dude gets a pass in my book from getting knocked out dehelmeted and falling across the goal line with the ball secured! Even though he got screwed on that call, boy has heart! Unless he comes up with something serious, we got no worries he's the type to put in on the line

 

To put it another way, until he becomes the next kendrell "tinker bell" bell or deuce "refuse to be used" staley... Stuff the smack talk in a sock.
