One reason why NE won't be interested: Sony Michel. Liked the guy in college and he fits into their get-a-cheap-RB-du-jour history. NE won't pay $8mill or whatever Bell's partial season salary AND given you a 2nd round pick too.

Earl Thomas suffered a leg injury today, needed a air cast and carted off the field. So for all of you Steelers fans who wanted to trade for him, you can forget about that.

Yes, flipping off his own team because he's mad he didn't get a contract extension.

While I think bell is hurting his future value by not playing and staying in football condition (physical and mental). But one thing that could help his value.... is that the NFL salary cap increases at a sizeable rate every year, so in the end I think it could be a wash.

If you think Bell is not "flipping" off the Steelers...think again.

I do not want bell if he decides to play for $10,000 a game. He is a cancer. We will all see that when he ends up wherever he ends up

The difference here Leveon.... is that Earl Thomas got injured playing with honor.... and he'll get a big contract in the end.

Oh, just wanted to add this article by that hack Schefter..... He says the transition tag can be used next year and it's 120% of this years salary (not 120% of original franchise offer, but 120% of his actual salary)..... so if we wanted to we could destroy bell's career and tag him for the transition tag which would put him effectively out of football for 2 years, if Schefter is correct.

He was mad because he got hurt playing on this one year deal and that just cost him money. Let's see if Seattle will continue to pay him and take care of him after this year. They wont and this guy so far by pff was graded as the best overall defensive player thus far this yr over khalil mack, von, Donald etc...

Bit of a different situation..... Earl Thomas was on his 2nd contract, he got paid, he's made over $55million..... not sure anyone needs to 'take care' of him after his contract is up...... but he played with honor and will heal and likely get another nice contract with another team next year. He has no reason to be angry.

Can you show me somewhere that it states any amount of money is enough. He's trying to get as much money as possible. Not just limit himself to 55 million.

Thomas is coming off a 40 million dollar contract, he got all of that money. I'm not feeling sorry for him because he didn't get the long term contract he wanted. He will still get paid as a free agent next year.
