they may say he won't be a starter, but i'm not bettin against the kid doing it at some point. you can tell he's got alot going on upstairs just by listening to him. good kid too. the kind i like to root for.

it's not only him, but many of our UDFA linemen we have here. long has been taking 2nd team reps at LT, so far.

No one, yet. I know he visited the Bills and Giants this week. On a side note, Ryan Lee was visiting the Giants, too. I know some were hoping he'd be back here.

I really wouldn't wanna see Legursky go if we could keep him around because he does a pretty decent job backing up Pouncey. How is it looking as far as whether or not he stays or goes?

Well, he's already gone in the sense that he's a free agent and we haven't expressed any interest in offering him a new contract that I'm aware of. I would be really surprised if he's back, since we're moving forward with the youth movement, and other teams are expressing interest in him.

I liked Legursky, but honestly, for the limited role he played he's not going to be missed.

i agree , he sends to much termoil into the O-line with his play at guard. i hope he catches on with someone. BA?

I know I could check this out easily enough, but who is now our backup C?

I agree that he's not that great of a linemen but I was just thinking that he's our most viable option if Pouncey gets hurt. If Pouncey's gonna stay healthy then I'm fine with it.

I don't think Pouncey has much say in that matter, LOL

I guess they don't have any confidence in Malecki there?

i don't know CS. i like malecki. they also have beachum of course and madsen from wvu. i believe i read foster took some center reps too. someone also said golic had played center at ND. the cupboard isn't bare. we will likely keep one on the PS too.

i'm not sure if beachum getting the work with the 1st team is a sign that whimper is just a camp body or if beachum, being just a 2nd yr. man, is needing extra reps... too soon to really tell anything when you're practicing in shorts........ i'm definitely not a fan of whimper, and hoping it's the former and not the latter.

beachum at least is on par with the new offense as much as anyone else. whimper is still new in it, i'm not sure if this has something to do with it.

The whole o-line is on the same footing when it comes to the new blocking scheme though... the offense itself is something totally different..... that's what angle I'm coming from

whimper should actually know it better since he played under bicknell in NY. i don't think whimper is as bad as made out. my concern is,can he play anywhere else? heck foster could play RT if needed.
