Not a Tomlin hater by any means but like many others I don’t believe he has another Super Bowl in him and I think it’s time to move on from him. Here is my offseason wish list

Trade / fire Tomlin and most of his staff except for Danny Smith

Ben Johnson as new HC
He would presumably bring in his own like minded OC and Oline Coach

Robert Salah as DC but again at the HC’s discretion

In terms of personnel I’d like WR, CB and DT to be their early draft selections in whatever order. They may be able to address some of these needs in free agency.

QB is a huge conundrum. I think if you’re appointing an offensive minded HC like Johnson you let him pick his guy when and as far as possible, and you’re working off a 2-3 year timeframe to get everything right. Maybe year 1 is a stop gap while he figures out the roster.

That will be too late for TJ and Cam but we are where we are, and there is some rebuilding to be done.

 

Weidl wasn't the Eagles GM, and he didn't build that team.

 

Daniels is free agent he's not coming back.

 

He was heavily involved in a building a very succesful team, something Khan has never done, and Tomlin hasn't done for over a deacde.

I don't know. It just seemed like the bungles WRs were always open. Got to be scheme or talent/execution. Probably both. Plus Burrow and Chase are very good along with Higgins.

 

Per Shefter, one team called the Steelers regarding a Mike Tomlin trade. Tomlin also has a no-trade clause in his contract. In other words, expect him on the sidelines in Latrobe.

 

Tyreek Hill already to reporters that he's "out" and changed his profile picture to AB, and tweeted goodbye to the fans.

Every year some team wants to trade for Tomlin. The change we need is right there, and we could actually get draft picks for him, but Deuce just won't let this franchise move forward.
