I thought that was just the quality of the video on my monitor...

More seriously, I was hyped about Batch last pre-season. I hope he makes an impact on the team this coming year.

Nice little vid. Thanks for posting that. He definitely looks quick and was making all the cuts. Looking good

Says he's at 90% after 7 months. Interesting to note, although he was drafted in 2011 and Mendenhall was drafted in 2008, both are 24 years old. If Mendenhall is 90% after 7 months (that will be July for him), I don't think he'll miss much time at all.

but didn't mendy tear two different tendons? he had complete knee reconstruction surgery. batchs' was bad but not near as bad as mendy. i'm not certain about this for him, but mendys was bad. could be a longer rehab.

Good point. I'm not sure. But I'm starting to think the PUP list will be the worst case scenario for Mendy, not the best.

Maybe Baron can be the third down back and take the place of Mewelde Moore.

I don't know what role he will fit into, but if you look at teams like the Giants and Patriots, you see teams which put guys into roles. They run packages using each of their guys.

Mendenhall would've spun around the objects, instead of cutting like Batch did! Fundamentals.

I think Baron Batch has great skill set to be a good 3rd down back, but I've yet to see how good his Blitz pick up skills are. Hard to be a 3rd down guy on this team if your not good on blitz pickup.

Reports out of camp last year were that he was doing excellent in blitz pickups.
