You are right that was the Playoff game in January 2021, and he was not injured that game.

I'm more worried what Tomlin will do to this team once Colbert is out of the way, than I am abt Baker Mayfield becoming a Steeler

I'd take him over who they currently have but he's not worth the headache he brings

Baker defended Myles Garrett when he falsely accused Mason of saying bad words

Not one player on the Steelers would respect him

Not what you want in a QB

It is now from multiple sources that the Steelers will pounce on Baker Mayfield if the Browns release him. I think the idea is nuttier than a fist full of squirrel ****. It has to be coming from Mayfield’s agent, just to tweak the Browns and get them to take less in a trade.

    * Multiple sources...Are people on social media speculating/ stirring the pot...Not ONE credible report

No way in Hell do the Steelers bring in this Toad... Mayfield has led the ENTIRE LEAGUE in interceptions since he was drafted!!!!! He sucks! He had the PERFECT set up, the best OL and RB's in the League..all he had to do was NOT screw it up, and he was garbage! A Fraud!

All this coupled with the fact he's a Sissy and a girl who runs to all the media platforms, and constantly runs his trap...He is the OPPOSITE of what the Steelers need!

But… he does do some pretty funny insurance commercials. You’ve got to give him that much.

This perception that he is good, is just that...He had the perfect set up, and wasn't good! That, coupled with his Sissy like demeanor...No Thanks

His next “at home with Baker Mayfield commercial” may be done from a Winnebago.

Why take Baker Mayfield when you can have Sam Howell?

Sam Howell looks like a less cocky Mayfield.

so let's wait until next year to draft a qb and that will guarantee us a better one after we fix the rest of the team first. look what he had in cleveland. there is no guarantee. drop the mic. :glare::cool:

I'd rather trade a day 3 pick for Mayfield than draft whatever QB is left at 20.

(if the Browns are paying part of his salary)

The ridiculous feeds that come on my FB timeline that I never signed up for "Steelers 'Conceivably' interested in acquiring disgruntled QB". The author then lists several teams who may go after Murray, thus it's conceivable the Steelers might do it. Sports journalism is basically dead lmao. BTW that was from Heavy on Steelers. BY some goof named DJ Siddiqi

I think it is more like "to have the Browns pay more in a trade" rather than "take less in a trade".

Right now I don't think they could trade Baker for a 7th round pick without having to pay a substantial part of his $19 million salary.

I don't support signing or trading for him, but I would root for him if he’s a Steelers. Although he comes off as a total homer at times, he has never been accused by 22 women of sexual assault, beat his wife or killed any dogs. His success would be our success. He also plays with more passion than the guy we’ve anointed as the heir apparent the past couple years

This is your golden chance to write a sports article:
The 32 NFL teams that might be interested in acquiring Mayfield

(You might be tempted to make it more than 32, but I recommend against that.)

you obviously don’t understand opinions. A talking head on espn says I believe or I think the Steelers would sign mayfield is not a rumor. It’s an opinion.

Cleveland is willing to put up with Watson’s baggage

    Cleveland is tired of Baker’s

That should tell anyone promoting signing Baker something

I wouldn't be surprised if the Steelers signed Baker if he was released, they like those QBs that were first round picks, Paxton Lynch and Haskins.

I would agree, but it's Cleveland, and there really is No rhyme, or reason 2 what they do.
I don't want either of them.
