I wish him all the best myself. Did not like the pick from that horrific draft class but was hoping the success of the franchise would find another good player.

Sadly for Jarvis, this was not the case. A decent player yes but a good one he is not.

Either way, I do hope that Arizona can find out what works best for him.

The Steelers West boneyard continues. I know a few have returned after a year or two but have any of our rejects ever panned out for Ariz?

Basically we wasted a 1st round draft pick on a 5th round talent that had two decent seasons in the SEC. Once he got a contract he became soft as butter. Good luck Arizona. Boy howdy, you gonna need it.

Good for him. You know he'll turn into a sack machine now, right? :lolol:

Has anyone heard any contract info? I mean, did Arizona actually agree to pay him something?

What's funny is Jarvis twitter name is SacManJones, in 4 years he had no clue how to sack the QB .

If he gets a lot of playing time with Arizona then we should be looking at a third round compensatory pick in 2018, coupled with the loss of Wheaton and Timmons.

    Indeed.

Even so, I do wish he would have panned out for us here. Within the same token, if he did, who knows how this current situation would have ended up?

So, depending on the contract numbers and the amount of snaps this could turn into another 3rd round comp pick next year! Awesome!

Speaking of former players, it appears as if the New York Jets is "Steelers East" if I am not mistaken.

From Santonio Holmes to Kelvin Beachum, they have acquired players from our side quite often throughout the last decade or so.

Guess they all do except for Ben and JH since no one else has won anything either!

Uh... Greg Warren. DUH! He's the glue that holds it all together. Remember that one time when Harrison tried to longsnap and it wound up as a safety? I've always believed that the whole "winning with Cowher's players" is totally substantiated by the fact that Greg Warren is still on the roster.

A draft fail for us. Adequate, and that's all.
