Mowing......I'm not Mowing again no freaking matter how high it gets. Yesterday was my last this year. It takes 4 hours on a riding lawnmower. That's ridiculous. LoL. Top that off My battery is dead and My solenoid switch went out yesterday, and I let someone borrow My rides....., and I killed it halfway through mowing....So I had to push it back to the shop....put it on a charger, and jump the solenoid. LoL ....So by the time I finished....over 5 freaking hours. NO MORE THIS YEAR. LOL
Ok ranting is over. Go Steelers

My uncle was still playing golf until he was 100

I asked if he was now using the ladies tee

Then a barrage of bad words came out of his mouth aimed at me

Back in my youth and USAF days, we had a rule that if you somehow failed to drive past the Lady's tees, you had to whip it out and leave it out the rest of the round to prove you were a man. :roflmao:

Only one of us (not me thank God) ever had it happen... on hole 18. Lucky bastard. He topped it and worm burned it. But with no holes left, it wasn't worth enforcing.

Uh oh, I'm not close to 100 but on longer courses I tee off from senior tees or if they don't have them, the ladies tees. I know many over 65 guys who still tee it up from the back tees and then take 5-6 shots to get near green. My ego accepted that my body betrayed me in distance.

I've never played....so thanks. Where I run it goes around a golf course , and I see people playing, but I have never played.

Golf....I once played 3 days a week, every week. Then I had kids. I don't think I have even hit at the driving range in 20 years.

I had 2 buddies and we played 9 holes once a week

Each of us took a six pack

No one took a score card

I don’t like serious golfers and they don’t like me

Now I don’t think my hands can hold a club without it flying through the air

One of the funniest scenes for me in Caddyshack is when Judge Smails throws his putter and it hits a lady diner. He says it slipped.

Many years ago I shanked one off the tee straight into a large oak tree

The ball came straight back at us with vengeance causing us to dive and ended up 15 yards behind the tee

If it wasn’t a charity outing I would have had to take my pants off

I doubt if any of us on here could afford a lot big enough in CA that would require a riding lawn mower! Even if the water districts would allow you to use enough water to keep a lawn that size alive.

What I do now, I could live just about anywhere but, boat owners balk at having to fly you in from, say, Little Rock!

Lots of cheaper, and open land besides Arkansas. I know I lived a lot of places.
My old boss bought a huge house boat in Massachusetts, and floated it all the way into Fort Smith it sits at a dock on the Arkansas River.

I used ARK as an example 'cause of where you live. I'm actually looking at the AZ mountains

Where I live in Hooterville we can still have “lots” big enough to require 4wd tractors and still have money left over for a 15 year old pick up

Real tractors not those dinky tinker toy lawn tractors

The median price for a home in San Diego county in July was $903,000, in Santee, it was $752,000. That's usually for a place on 1/4 acre or less. Not many tractors around here......
