ATTENTION Yahoo league owners (URGENT)

We were too slow filling the league. I can only randomize the draft order until an hour before the draft. since the draft is for 8 pm, and the last team entered around 710, I'm locked out of doing it.

I fear that the draft order may now be the order that we joined. This would be very unfair.

So we have 2 options:

1- Go ahead at 8 and HOPE that Yahoo randomizes it themselves.

or

2- Change the draft time until later tonight so I can randomize it.

I'll leave it to anyone who responds to decide. You have until about 730 (740 at latest) to give me input, or the league must draft at 8.

I don't want to just change the draft time without a consensus.

 

From what I've read, Yahoo will randomize it 45 minutes before draft time, so it should be alright?

 

Not sure how it works. Hopefully it will be randomized.

 

Probably pushing it time-wise, but you could post a message there for input, too. Most people get email notices via Yahoo.

 

I think that's the case too. But I'm a little OCD and a bit of a worrywort.

I'm only worried since the first year they offered it (10 years ago or so), we were unaware that you had to change the order, and were shocked when the order ended up being the order we joined.

I'm sure they changed it, but wanted everyone aware.

If the draft room opens, and I'm not the first pick, we're safe.

Ok, time to spike the, er, I mean, make the coffee, and I'm ready to go.

 

Wow, didn't think I was going to make it in. Draft wouldn't load up. Had to eventually choose the "Use Classic Tool".

Man is my technology ever out of date.

 

FYI to anyone in case it comes up, there IS a Yahoo Fantasy app for smartphones. You can draft through that as well.

(you know, just in case your or my dinosaur of a PC decided to not behave)

 

Thanks for the tip, unfortunately my one piece of modern technology took a swim with me last weekend and is still inoperable.

 

TTF - Just using my dinosaur computer. I can see the chat, but for whatever reason can't type anything in the chat.

Enjoying the dialogue though!

I always feel that way after a draft.

By week 3...

Oddly enough, the one year I swre my team sucked, I had the best overall record. Didn't win the championship, but it was enough to pay me.

 

Not for nothing, but Yahoo already awarded TTF with the Best Overall Draft award.

FWIW, your team doesn't look TOO bad. Need help at QB and maybe RB. But then again, maybe not.

As I said above, the one year I thought my team looked awful, I had the best record. Go figure.
