Yeah, I hate them as much as everyone else, but all I could think is WOW...they are moving the ball with EASE. It was impressive to watch and I was bit jealous watching it.

That is so true. Like someone just mentioned, go for the short fast pics and the long passes will come. Not Ben's type of play. Well who is running the team, Ben who is not leader or Tomlin with his blank look.

Ok I will come right out and say it. The Pats would own us if we played them. They are a well coached team with good work ethics. We do not have that caliper in the Steelers. Our receivers cannot get open like theirs can and Ben is not real quick on getting rid of the ball. He would rather go for the big play or we run the ball the first two downs and now we are 3-whatever and hear comes the pass. We are so predictable to other teams it is ridiculous. We are dam lucky to make the playoffs with the way Cinn. and the Browns are playing vs. our playing. If we do not make the playoffs they can all go Christmas shopping and watch everything at the house.

The Pats are better than us at this point. They can run the ball, the Steelers can't. Ben dd not have the opportunity to exploit the play action against San Diego because the runs were pathetic.

Could not agree with this more!! There would always be a very small chance we could beat Brady and the Pats in the playoffs, but if those 2 teams played 10 times, they would win 9 of them

NE has been moving the ball against a lot of teams this year. That's how they are putting up 35 PPG.

We used to be a team that would out physical any team we played. Eventually we would wear them down and win close games. After what I saw on Sunday there is no indication that we can or ever will return to that style of play. We definitely can't outsmart you ,we just have too many stupid penalties and costly turnovers. Our best and only chance these days is the short pass ball control offense that keeps the other teams off the field. The question is do we have the smarts and the patience to stick with it. I don't know what changes week to week ,but we have no consistency and that is what separates us from the elite.

Exactly, all I'm saying is just give the Steelers an opportunity. If they get beat they get beat, but I would love for them to go to Foxboro if there is even the slimmest chance of ripping the Patriots' hearts out in front of their home crowd.

What I learned after watching the Texans and patriots is how far we are from being a real contender.
While we were getting blown out by one of the worst teams the patriots were blowing out one of the best teams In the afc

And it's not just NE. I see plenty of other teams get the PI call. All they have to do is go deep and wait for contact between WR and DB...

I think I have to agree with others that our WRs need to come back and fight for the ball more. Plax came in and immediately got a PI call because he tried to come back for a deep pass to the end zone...

yeah but the difference here is they did it to a team who a lot of people are considering a super bowl team.. thats why people are oooing and awwwing at NE crushing the texans..i'm saying they crushed the banged up version of the texans.. the secondary they had out there would be us putting out Gay, Mcfadden, Mendy and a limping Clark... NE's true test will be against the 49ers Sunday night... if they can crush the 49er's then i'll give that team credit

Not disputing that Ben would rather throw it down the field but he was having one of his best seasons ever using the quick passing game.
