To change the pace, let's talk about his first start. First career INT, nearly picked up a fumble as well. He's quick to the ball, and almost snagged another INT in the 3rd qtr I believe. I thought he played well, yes, he missed Wallace on that long TD run, but Mitchell didn't help either. Was nice to see him on the field, and I think in time he may work out quite well.

First career start and he already has more INTs than Ike Taylor!

I will say that I definitely think him and Cockrell both have better hands than Ike ever did. Now if they can just cover and tackle we will be looking a lot better in that department. Plus we still might have something in Golson but who knows when we'll ever find that out?

I thought this after the game that Artie and Cockrell seem to be the way to go for the future.

... of course Dez Bryant's attacking nature in contesting catches will be a bigger test.

Plus Dez can probably drill a dude at the line too. He's a physical specimen for sure.

We struggle with pressure against mediocre lines but now facing the best one. Zeke is a sober bell and dak can run and is accurate. Their D is better than Ravens lol. Still, they looked pedestrian vs SF, eagles, Washington and Giants. They are due for a loss and us a win, but again won't matter if tomlin bug eyes himself to a L

6-4-5 defense. Bring the LBs up frequently so Zeke has to run into 10-man fronts.

Liked what I saw in his 1st game I know there was a knock on him in another thread about tackling but he showed a few times yesterday he isn't afraid to hit. I also like the way they were able to play with him in there, I know I have been real hard on the way we play off the LOS and with him in there right off the bat yesterday we were up on the line. We have a lot of youth on this side of the ball and it is hard to be all optimistic after a loss like yesterday but I really believe if the coaching does their job we are on the right track. Artie...Davis...Cockrell...Golson when healthy....Dupree....Hargraves.....Matacavich....Chickillo and of course Shazier, watch out.. #keepingmyfingerscrossed

Artie showed flashes of whats to come, he's going to get better and better with more game experience, and he is going to be a solid corner with ball hawking skills....

Good things to come from Burns. I like the tackle Davis made too. Willingness is half the battle, I like the way he stuck his nose in there.

He had a solid first start, just needs to work on his tackling.

yeah, I think injuries is the only thing that will keep burns from starting now. he looks the part. not afraid to hit. seems to at least be able to stick to his man. yeah Wallace beat him but at least burns touched him. I have seen some be 5 yards behind wr.
I am on record saying start both burns and davis. let the learn on the job.

Call me nuts, but Beasley scares me more than Dez and Zeke. I can just picture Timmons chasing him all over the field all day.
