He's been given enough time. Dude gets burned on his first play of the game. Jumps offsides too. Might be one of the worst Steelers draft picks in history.

Ziggy Hood would like a word with you.

    But I agree, cut him

I don't know. Huey Richardson, Tim Worley, Aaron Jones... were not very good draft picks either.

Burns has been a colossal disappointment but I'm not going to get on him about jumping offsides, he was going all out to block it.

If he was the one who jumped on the missed attempt, I'd be right there with you.

Hood was not that bad, IMO.... and not a bust. He was exceptionally average... nowhere near as good as Aaron Smith and Brett Kiesel. He contributed to the Super Bowl XLV team.

He cost nothing, why drop him, to make a statement? Still need depth.

Sensabaugh is putrid, like not even 3rd string caliber for a very bad defense. But still better than Artie lol

The guy is two or three steps behind the receiver with his back turned quite a bit.It wasn’t the offsides on the field goal attempt but the getting burned on one of the Chargers two point conversations after Haden was shaken up that was embarrassing!

Bring back DeShea Townsend. He can have his number back since Bell won't be needing it.

He certainly didn't make any friends. I'm with those saying to release him now holds no benefit. Unless of course we see how DHB plays at corner.

    I kid.

I would hang on to Burns. He is a young enough player. Rehabilitation is still a possibility. He should not even sniff the field the rest of this season unless it is absolutely necessary.

and even if he does have to play due to injury, just blitz him every time.

I somehow still believe Burns might turn it around most likely with a different coach on a different team. He has the tools but has no ball skills he either interferes or if he attempts to locate the ball he loses the receiver.

How did he go from doing so (comparatively) well against AB in camp to...this?

To me the whole secondary needs to be let go, except maybe Haden. Butler along with them. I mean they just suck. That running into each other and Allen grabs it for a TD sums it up. They should know where one another is going to be and talking to each other. It has been like this for years now and nothing changes. We take receivers with our top picks or running backs. I mean Juju is a great pickup and so was Conner, but dang if we don’t need a good to great corner.
