Well make sure you've took your heart meds for the day and go test drive a Cooper S and then get back to me with that idiotic assumption.

Those are SO not MINI's. LOL! Although sadly I can't eve ride the the Teacups anymore because as I've gotten older I just really struggle with motion sickness.

Hence why you drive a mini. I see :smiley1:

Do you have the same thing as in the UK where if a mini driver sees another one on the road they'll wave? It's like a secret universal code or something. Fun though.

Yep. We wave at each other. I deliver to a guy who is a MINI enthusiast and actually has a true British one in his garage that's probably 40 years old or more. Those things are expensive too. I seen a guy selling one on Craigslist once for like $17,000 or something like that. I also had a teacher once that had an old MG that even still had the steering wheel on the British side. I always thought that car was pretty cool too. I didn't know people that had Jeep Wranglers waved at each other though.

My buddy used to run an actual club for old VW fans called "Air Cooled Hooligans" and they would all get together in souped up vintage Bugs and race them. He had basically turned his in to a "rat rod" or whatever and it would actually fly but man I did NOT feel safe in that thing! He had it lowered and any little thing you hit felt like it was gonna come through the floor. He got his wife one of the newer ones and they have turbos in them but they tear up constantly. He hates the new ones. He finally just stopped dealing with the old ones altogether as well because he was just constantly working on it and throwing money away like crazy. I bet he probably had 10 or more of them over the years though. He said the old VW hippie vans are worth a fortune if you can find them in good shape. My wife's cousin is a Camaro enthusiast and I let him drive my MINI and he was really impressed by it because he didn't realize how quick they are. The true fun of them is getting them in curves and flying through them. There's a placed called "The Dragon" here which is 318 curves in 11 miles and people come from all over the world every year to the "MINI Rally On The Dragon" and drive across it together. There's tons of videos on youtube of people trying to take the curves as fast as they can in their MINI's. It's seriously crazy to do that though.

I've been through Deals Gap on motorcycle trips. Awesome! Beware police, construction and large trucks.

My father in law took his motorcycle across the dragon and regretted it almost instantly. LOL! He said it was just crazy.
