    And with only playing an average of 4 games per year - he'll last ..what...another 16 years??? So sign him now for a lifetime contract (based on 4 games per year though). ;)

    Going back to Franco, it is somewhat a misconception that it was just the Steelers playing hardball. Franco was under contract and held out. If memory serves me, he not only was asking for more money but he wanted 2 years. Steelers don't negotiate with people who hold out. Franco clearly did not have 2 years in him. Steelers were just hoping he had 363 more yards in him. That wasn't hardball. It was good business.
