Hallelujah, uni's won't change. As some of you may know, Nike earned the rights to produce all NFL uniforms starting this season. Rooney said there will be no changes to ours but they will introduce a new throwback jersey. We have the coolest uniforms in the league, keep them as is :rawk: :yeehaw:

Yes, good news indeed. Ours are the best. Always have been. Well, not always... But for several decades.

We're consistently rated as having the NFL's coolest uni's & helmets. No reason at all to mess with that!

Whaaaaa? We won't be switching to Vegas Gold pants? What happened to Pittsburgh's continuity of uniforms?

Awesome, I'm glad we're keeping the regular uni's and that we'll be seeing new throwbacks.

I'm curious what the throwback would be.?

I really hope it isn't the 1967 jersey. It looks god awful no matter which way to spin it.

To be honest I really like that striped 1933 jersey. I just think who ever reproduced them for the 90's didn't do a good job updating them. It looked like cheap iron on decals. It should have been higher quality stitched fabric.

Great news on no changes, but I could do without throwbacks completely. I think they are all hideous.

Idea...If we are gonna have games with throwback unis, those games should have throwback rules too.

I just wish they'd stop making apparel so long for no reason. Jerseys are fine long, but t-shirts, sweatshirts, etc. don't need to be cut to hang mid-thigh.

Heck, it's 2012. Can't the THROWBACKS be the block-number style of uniform we wore when we were dominating in the 70's? Then, maybe we can eventually re-adopt them as the standard uniform again. I don't dislike the ones we use now, but I still hearken back for the old style more (in more ways than one).
