Funny how Tomlin ALL of a sudden has changed his conservative stance on Offense. Need to score more points Popcorn says. No S^&% really? I guess dog house Mason opened his bug eyes

Lets not forget he promoted Canada. And Fichtner.

So Tomlin will be involved but it will be a collective. Hopefully their is a collective bringing in a new defensive coordinator. The scheme especially in the secondary needs tweaking.

People really don't know how organizations work, sad
they don't understand or comprehend teamwork philosophy
In making major decisions that can effect many people's lives
for year/s Oh well, you can take a horse to water, but you can't make them drink.

I heard on a Steelers podcast the host said that Tomlin wanted to get rid of Canada after the 2022 season, but Art ll said no, the host claimed a source told him that FWIW.

I wouldn't put too much credence in that, but I wouldn't be too surprised if that was true. It might have finally gotten to the point after the 3 game losing streak where Tomlin told Art, "you can have it his way or my way, but you can't have it both". Pure speculation on my part, maybe they both wanted him gone at the same time

Part of me thinks it could be true because we know Art doesn't like to spend money on coaches to sit home, but the offense was so bad they had to fire Canada during the season, and they many players unhappy and complaining.

Don’t know why people are afraid of Art being involved, it was his involvement that steered them towards Haley. I didn’t like Haley as a person but he was one of their best OCs.

For what it’s worth, even if Dulacs reporting is accurate, he hired Canada as QBs coach not OC.

Friends, Art 2 has been trained/ mentored by his late father
for many years, surely some of those smarts and of course
Very capable advisors have rubbed off to him through out the years
.This is the only business he has ever known.

It is very apparent a bunch of the tinfoil hat posters have no idea how a billion dollar company is run

Rooney owns the team and signs the paycheck so certainly he has input

But Rooney is not out scouting other teams both college and NFL and therefore certainly does not have the insight on hiring and drafting that Omar/Tomlin have

I’m starting to think that quoting Kaboly is tantamount to quoting Madden

I hear what you're saying, but everyone loses their "stuff" at some point. Colbert is a prime example of that

I just want them to steer away from the unknown commodities this time, stick with experience.

Agreed - from a leadership perspective, he can set the priorities and let those around him figure out the details. Rooney can then step back and support them as they iron out the final plan. If the plan falls flat, then support turns to accountability.

Hopefully an OC that schemes for the TE. No reason Muth can’t be a weapon like LaPorte, Otten, Likely/Andrew’s, Kittle, etc

In fact, pigs are some of the cleanest animals around, refusing to excrete anywhere near their living or eating areas when given a choice.
