I was thinking about Mendy (good but not worth a #1) Hood (maybe a bust?) Sweed (bust) Davis (bust) Worilds (not sure about him) Kraig Urbik... It seems that we have missed as much as we have hit.

Every draft has hits and misses. But those are 11 guys that are either starting or sharing time with starters. There are 4 Pro Bowlers there. There are franchises that don't even have 4 Pro Bowlers on the entire team.

WHAT?!!? No way is Ben over 300 lbs. He is listed at 241, but I think that is light. I'll giv you 260 max and agree that this might be too big, but no way 300+

Ben does not weigh over 300 lbs.

My problem is, and I agree with whoever said it earlier in this post, we DO NOT adjust. Another issue I have, and this is with BA, is the goaline offense. Every person on the face of the planet knows what we are going to do, yet we still run the up the gut play. Mix it up a little..... :frustrated:

So let me see if I understand this. BA is a good ( some say great ) OC because he has 2 SuperBowl victories and some AFC championship appearances. His offense has continually under performed, been in the bottom half of the league in scoring. People want this mediocre performer to stick around. Lets say Ben was in the bottom half of QB ratings, would we want him to stick around? What if the Steelers in general were in the bottom half of the league every year, would we want Tomlin to stick around? On the other hand Dick Lebeau has always had a top 10 defense, this year was a number 1 defense, and people want him gone! I dont get it, why would we want to keep the mediocre and get rid of the performers? Some will argue that Lebeau benefitted from an easy schedule, didnt the offense benefit as well? The point I am trying to make is, if we could improve anywhere, QB, RB, WR, LB, DL CB, wouldnt we want to do that, do we not want to improve at OC as well?

Sir, you are absolutly right, 100%. Why should we as Steelers fans settle for BA's mediocrity and anaemic offense when we can do better. At this rate, all of the best and qualified OC will be taken, however, there is always a sleeper out their, just like when Tomlin got the job. Now honest to God, its time for BA to be gone, and you make a good case!
