Are the Patriots unstoppable even without Gronk?

The Raiders are finally back to the glory days of "just win baby". But, can they keep up and handle the Patriots in the playoffs?

The Cowboys are riding on 2 impressive rookies with a stacked O-line. But, how long will it last?

The Seahawks are continuing their defensive dominance but had some close games and a few close losses along the way. Also, Earl Thomas is done for the year.

The Patriots will be a threat to other playoff teams. New England just seems unstoppable. They lost to the Bills without Brady but their other loss was only by the Seahawks and it was a close game.

The Patriots can prove themselves if they played the Raiders or Cowboys this year. We already know what happened when they played Seattle.

The Steelers might be in this if they can get it together, but time will tell.

    No.

Heck, they were not infallible even with Gronk. Their achilles heel is their offensive line. Brady is getting knocked around more often than not this time around; Brady having less time as a result. Less time means shorter pass attempts.

Even so, one thing that still is a bright spot is their defense. Top five in the league in PPG if I recall. That will keep them in games. However, while Gronk was important towards their success, Brady has found different ways to win in spite of his statistical drop. With a weak offensive line however, they will now be more vulnerable than they were.

The Pats are very beatable, but I would give them better than 50/50 odds against anyone at home, maybe even on the road.

One note on their close loss to Seattle- it was at home to a team that traveled 3 time zones, so I'm not that impressed that it was close.

and not a good record against the pats

i know we can beat both

Seems like the patriots hold a big lead all time against the rats, and has beat them their last two games: So talking like the rats are on a roll beating the pats is a little misleading:

The two teams have met each other 12 times (including 4 postseason games), with the Baltimore Ravens winning 3 games and the New England Patriots winning 9 games.

And the steelers lead their series with the pats all time: Pittsburgh Steelers and New England Patriots. The two teams have met each other 28 times (including 4 postseason games), with the Pittsburgh Steelers winning 15 games and the New England Patriots winning 13 games.

I am watching the Pats-Ravens game. It's early. But I see the same ol' Pats. Brady isn't in rhythm: makes no difference. Specials teams and defense put the points on the board and give him great field position.

Exactly right DAR, we have as much talent as either one of these teams.
