At 61 years old and a die hard Steeler fan since 1972 I’ve seen highest of highs and the lowest of lows. Yes it’s been a very rough ride for quite a while now but every time you start losing hope, just remind yourself that you could be a Jets fan

Yes, they're worse but they have a disaster every time they get in recently just like we do.

 

He has a talent for mediocrity, but when it matters mediocre coaching isn't good enough. And let's remember in his entire time here we have had at least average to usually well-above average rosters. He's a good very good motivational "players coach" who both at the same time manages to hold a team together (this is part of the reason why media sycophants like Rich Eisen love him) and hold it hold back.

So really if you think about it and take everything into account the above .500 record makes sense, the team never completely implodes and forces him out, but it never lives up to its talent level because he's nowhere near good enough as an "on the field" HC.

You are big into asking questions so let me ask you one. How many more years of 0 playoff wins should MT last? 2? 5? 10?

 

You hang your hat on a playoff game....I will on SBs. Again....not one difference in making the playoffs, and losing 1 game, 2nd game , or 3rd game....once you make the playoffs....it's SB, or bust., but You do You.

Honestly tell me the difference once You make the playoffs between losing 1st, 2nd,and 3rd playoff game??? Honestly besides you can't say the same thing over, and over. 2 stages....make the playoffs....win the SB. You get Nothing else for anything else besides participation trophies. Like I said 100 times before....if You could say.....We never make the playoffs....I could get behind You, but You are quibbling over one , or two lousy more wins. Once You make the playoffs....everyone in has a chance, but only two can brag....the ones that make the SB.
