If that would have been Marsha there would have been 27 yellow flags on the field. The refs would have been pulling them from their underpants all the while Brady and Belicheat are screaming for them.
As soon as I saw Ben get crunched, I told my wife the season is over. There is no way he could coome back from that. I was totally expecting torn cartilage, ligaments ect.....Ben is one tough hombre.......Gumby would probably be on crutches in the second half but our so called drama queen tosses a TD to seal the victory.

My wife just came home from work as it happened, She asked "how are we doing" I said "we're done, it's all unraveled" and then the big guy was warming up on the field. Priceless...

Yeah - I texted my brother and said, "This is bad - not only for this game but maybe for the season or beyond!" Then - out he comes for the 2nd Half. The stunned look on my face when I saw him taking snaps must have been incredible.

If you get a chance - check out the comments on all the articles praising Ben's toughness. It is amazing how classless the haters are. Geeeez. On the other hand, it is pretty cool to see some Ratbirds and Bengirls fans commenting positively on his toughness.

Since you brought up flags. I went back and watched this play on my DVR a few times. The guy that hit Ben hit him low and was not blocked into him. I know you can't hit a QB below the waist, but are there exceptions to this rule if the hit is from behind on the back of the legs or if the QB is outside of the pocket? Just curious...if not, this should have been a flag.

I just hope the MRI comes back ok. Sometimes X-rays don't show the true damage. Crossing my fingers. Any word on that yet?

The thing that is sick to watch in this video, is the direction of his toes on his left foot when he hits the ground. His left foot is twisted all the way around and pointing to the back of his left knee. Thats 180 degrees folks.. lets see if you can do that without major injury? Ben is very lucky!!!

I couldn't watch the game live, but my Dad and a coworker both texted me saying they killed Ben right after it happened.

- I heard every flag in Pittsburgh went to half mass.
- I heard there was a prayer meeting at almost every church in the burgh. raying:
- I heard stores couldn't keep enough candels on the shelfs due do everyone preparing for candle light meetings (or whatever you call it)
- I heard The Natonal Guard was alerted because of fear of riot groups forming.
- I heard all women and children where preparing for evacuation (Browns Fans that is).
