Little bit different My Friend....most of us Haven't been doing since we were kids what we ended up doing. KFP has been playing Qb for at least 10 years of His life...
With that said......
I'm not saying He can't be good....I'm 100% behind Him, but He hasn't been very good, but confidence can help, and He won this week so let's move on ,and see what we shall see.

 

Well, depends on the job. We had 6 kids in 5 years, no regrets as we wanted 6, so yea I did the job correctly, then just to prove it we had a 7th when I hit 42. Yea I was pretty good at that job, from the start.

He had one touchdown today and was otherwise mediocre

I get your point, and it is not all his fault, in fact most of it is not likely his fault. But 5 games in and his 2nd year leap is still going backwards. I love the Steelers, I want KP to be great, because I like the kid and it's a great story over all, after last year's bye he came out better, let's hope this year is the same.

 

Did anyone else see the sigh of relief on Canada’s mug when they panned to him after the TD throw? Lol he was like “I get to work another week!”

Nobody is saying KFP is a superstar, but I think he can be a pretty good Qb with a competent OC/play caller good OL and running game.He seems to do well in comeback wins. He seems pretty good under pressure in the clutch.

 

Maybe he will tell them we are #3 in the whole conference now because we are 2-0 in the division! Lol and we’ve probably only scored 3 TDs

 

And I'm not saying He can't be a Super Star....I'm just pointing out He's been struggling, and not all of it His fault, and Believe Me ......I dang sure don't want Him to fail.

That’s not just a job it’s an adventure

 

This is a team game, as you understand pieces must be in
place so people can be successful in what they do. Running game is a Qbs best friend an efficient Ol is beneficial for sucess Yes he needs to improve,get better, but it may not come as fast as some people expect.

 

My daughter is planning Christmas and just asked me if I was cooking. That's the adventure, those 7, their mates, 11 grandkids, and I shared a recipe for buckwheat pancakes. Me and my big mouth lol

 

I think most of us understand that, and being 3-2 going into the bye is better than the 2-6 last year, especially the way we have played. I said at the beginning of the year I could see this team being 11-5, or 7-10, I don't want the latter, but if the team grew and played competitively you can still build on that, but the issues (far beyond KP) are still the same that has plagued this team for years, and nothing they do is fixing it..love the win, especially against our rival, better to sit through a bye with a win.

 

Nonsense is not being able to understand or point out a players shortcomings. Kenny made some plays today but still has a ways to go before he can be relied on to carry this team consistently.

 

KP has just completed his first full 17 game NFL schedule, mistakes are going to happen
and will probably continue to make mistakes. In this short time he has oversaw 3 comeback wins
I am as frustrated with the team probably more than anyone, we need to get into playoffs and win atleast a game
in the playoffs for me to consider the season a success.

 

In Defense of some of those that do question Pickett...




This has to change moving forward. Kenny needs more opportunities to attack the middle of the field. When they are there however, Kenny needs to take advantage of them. Dude cannot rely on sideline vertical passes every damn game.
