Looks like the Kansas City Steelers fan club is organizing a huge tailgate party.

Young fan club. I've been there when I bet there wasn't 10 Steelers fans in attendance.

Try not to correct other Steelers fans grammar and avoid those that beg for you to look at them. JK

I as well envy you and hope your trip is a safe and VICTORIOUS one. JMO>

Nice. Looks like a good time.
We ended up grabbing a hotel in Cincinnati and are buying tickets tomorrow. So I'll be in "The Jungle" on Saturday lol. Just wasn't taking a chance with flying/delays/cancellations. Especially now since we're supposed to get a decent snow storm on Sunday evening.
Im debating on how much Steeler attire to wear there. :lolol:

Seriously, they'll never know Im there. Not there to stir up crap in their house. Just want to see a good game and I think it's going to be one. The Bengals have a tough team.

I'll assume you just like going to Playoff games even if it's not the Steelers. I've only been to one NFL game that didn't involve the Steelers but I'd love to be at this Bengals game. The atmosphere will be through the roof!!!!!! Their fans are so damn hungry for a Playoff win. Burrow is a future superstar but this is his first Playoff game with the pressure of that awful playoff record. I hope the local papers don't crucify the guy if Raiders beat them.

    BTW: Who you rooting for????

This will be my first NFL game not involving the Steelers. It's something that I've been wanting to do. My neighbor and his high school son and one of his friends are going, so he asked if I wanted to tag along. The boys are just big NFL fans and want to see any playoff game. Im actually kind of stoked. It should be a really good atmosphere and game. I will temporarily join the Who-dey nation for a day. I do have a soft spot for the Bengals. I think it stems from Marvin Lewis. He's a good guy and is local to where I live (Im about 15 minutes from where he grew up and one school district over). And I think they've built a really good team. Joe Burrow is the real deal and their fans deserve it. They've really had nothing to cheer about in so long. Even the Browns have had more success in the last 35 years.

I figure I'll wear a lot of my Pitt gear, that way they'll know where were from w/o it being Steeler stuff. 95% of fans are good people, but I'd just rather not deal with the 5%. Especially with the kids there. Plus, given the division rivalry, the Steelers still being in the playoffs, and the way that the Steelers beat them the last two playoff games, I can see where some drunken and obnoxious Bengal fans would see that as a sign of disrespect.

During the Peach Bowl last month, we were at a bar before the game and some dude in a Michigan sweatshirt was strutting through the bar. Because of the huge rivalry, the Michigan State fans were super pissed. I'd rather not be that guy. Now if they had chosen to go to the Buffalo/New England game, that would be a different story. I'd definitely rock the Steelers gear for that.

I commonly see fans at steelers games wearing their jerseys for their team when it’s not the opponent. Nobody seems to pay never no mind. But they aren’t rats, browns or Patriots.

Was at a Penguin/flyer game and there was this nice Canadian guy next to me in a Toronto Maple leaf jersey. All he wanted to do was see an NHL Playoff game and the abuse that poor guy took from the flyer fans was disgusting. I just was thankful they didn't realize I was a Penguin fan. Learned long ago to never wear my team colors in another teams stadium. Had a beer poured on me from above at a Pirate/phillie game as a young man.

Perfect. So please stay at home. And I don't record the game but I'll watch it live at 2am in the night. Cause every time I recorded the night games in the past, it has been a disaster for the Steelers.

    Here we go

That's just it, being a division rival. If it weren't a Browns/Ravens/Bengals/Eagles (because their fans are trash) game, I wouldn't think twice about it.
