The way this team plays and the situations they put themselves in at the end of games, I don't see how any steelers fans can relax. When KC got within four points late in the fourth, I just knew the offence would stall and KC would have the ball at the end of the game with a chance to win, and I was right. I'm going to start taking a couple shots of crown at the beginning of the fourth quarter from here on out.

NO, Steelers struggle after by-weeks, not sure why and its drives me nuts. I am sure this will be a nice bounce back home game for us, looks like Woodely will return and apparently Troy is OK. Our offensive should be tired of hearing all the neg press by Sunday and come out ready.

We're nowhere close to being eliminated if we lose this game. In fact, if we lose to Cinci and San Fran, but win out against the Browns and Rams, we are almost a lock to at least be the #6 seed. Of non-division leaders, the Jets, Titans and Broncos are all 6-5, and if we go 11-5 with losses to San Fran and Cinci, we still beat the Jets and Titans in tiebreakers. Not sure how the tiebreakers stack up with Denver, but I can't see both them and Oakland winning out. If we swoon so badly that we go 10-6, then we don't deserve a spot.

There's not much that we have to do to make the playoffs, and the 1st round game is a very winnable if we have to face either Oakland/Denver (AFC West champs) or Houston (AFC south champ) with a 3rd string QB.

MY absolute #1 concern right now is getting healthy for the playoffs.

Steelers are a 7.5 point favorite. Looks like they want some money coming in on the Bengals.

I really don't think the Steelers will have a problem with the Bengals. Yeah they weren't sharp against KC but they will bounce back. I feel it in my bones! I guess the other issue I have is when people talk about teams that should beat teams. There really is a lot of truth to "any given Sunday". Everyone was talking about the Lions for the first few weeks, now they will be lucky to be a wild card. Anyone one that says they knew the 49ers were going to have the record they have now is full of sh**. The powerful Patriots have destroyed some teams and yet we handed them their butts. The best you can do is make an educated guess and then hope that you are right. Remember all of those that are in panic mode week in and week out, any win is a good win! I need to become a yoga instructor... I could make a fortune with this crowd.

To the post of a short route might break one into a long gain.......This is completely correct ,,but you have to design it 1st. then call it at the right time ,,,meaning set it up and then you have to execute it..........

See where execute falls in that sequence?Yet we still keep spitting execute ,,,,because the 1 time they got fooled we failed to execute at 100%.....

News flash .....How about a 2 RB set with Wallace and Brown stacked to force the D to back off from the gate because of the speed of Wallace,,,,then a PA fake to Red into the 1 hole followed by a fake pitch to Mendenhall to the 8 hole......This Freezes the SS and the back side CB whether we run it strong side or weak side....

Now let Wallace dart to the middle if LB steps up u run an Arrow from him just like KC did to us.....Either way 2 quick reads to hit a speed guy set up by the backfield action...

Now to the routes of Brown who is a open field specialist......He follows Wallace on a slant and if Walllace breaks it into an arrow out he conitinues the slant......If Wallace continues the slant then Brown breaks the slant into a Slant and Go,,,,,and you hit him right now......

So there is 2 more quick reads set up by playcalling so now we have 4 Quick reads to 2 game changers with 3 Elgibles left....I will not get into the routes from the FB/Redman or the TB/Mendenhall or the Strong side or maybe weak side TE of Miller,,,,but please believe the D will have a very tough time stopping the 1st. 4 reads and if they do all the Straight routes from the other 3 are wide open.....

This is why I wished we had another OC ,,,because if you draw it up it is plain to see.....

I'm always nervous when we are facing a divisional opponent. To add to that - the Bengals are one loss away from being on the outside looking in to the playoff race. They're going to be amped for this game, and the Steelers better match the Bengirls intensity!

On behalf of the coaches, players, management and owners of the Steelers Organization...thank you for solving our offensive struggles! Oh snap, I just remembered I'm a simple minded fan posting on a message board.

This team changes weekly. Steelers may go out and light up the Bengals 41-10. You just don't know. They could also win by only a FG (hate games like those!!!). Or they could straight up lose (doesn't matter how).

What I do know is that we HAVE to win this game because right now divisional games are the most important.

Someone get a hold of Tomlin somehow and remind him how important this game is. The season is over for the loser of this game. Please try to get across to coach Tomlin that if you let a team stick around till the fourth quarter that bad things can happen. Score as many points as you can. Don't let up until you have a thirty point lead at the two minute warning. Please someone get this message to him, PLEASE!
