Agree Mikey! At this point, it just amazes me how many Mike Dumblin groupies are still remaining, and I'm talking about fans that would wash his balls, polish them, and then spit-shine his ass when they were done with that. Also, we have a percentage of our fan base that believes if we fire Dumblin, the Steelers would never win another game again & be sent to football hell forever...and then 31 teams would magically fire their coach, one lucky team would hire him, and then win 10 Super Bowls in a row!

Exaggerate much? You seem WAY too fixated on that "washing Tomlin's balls" thing. Prior experience?

I don’t need to prove it. Tomlins record against good teams, against good QB’s and in the Postseason has already proved it. Your the Tomlin defender here, the onus of proving why he isn’t the issue when we seem to have this late season collapse year after year after year with seemingly no answer. The lone common denominator here is Tomlin. It’s pretty logical to draw the conclusion on who the problem is here. I still believe Tomlin has alot of good traits and I actually do not want to get rid of him, however not getting rid of him would require a few conditions. He needs to hire better coordinators and assistants. He needs to give up control of the defense. He needs to adjust philopshically and schematically on defense because it isn’t and it hasn’t worked for how many years now.

The guy is out of excuses. You don’t hold onto a flailing OC like he did with Canada. You don’t hold on to a flailing Oline coach like he has with Meyer. You don’t continue to draft and sign free agents for the ILB position with the same results year after year after year. Good teams and coaches correct problems quickly. KC upgraded their online in one offseason after their SB loss to the Patriots and have never looked back. Dan Cambell got rid of their OC after one season and now he has the hottest OC on the market. Philadelphia revamped their defensive backfield after one offseason and now they number one passing defense and number one defense over all.

We still have Oline problems after how many years? We still have issues stopping the run after how many years? We still have issues covering TE’s over the middle of the field after how many years? We still have issues running the ball after how many years? We still have late season melt downs after how many years?

Najee harris is still our primary RB .... Why? Connor Heyward is still getting alot of playing time ...Why? Broderick Hones is still starting ... Why? Cam Sutton played the whole game when he was obviously struggling ... Why? George Pickens still quits on plays .... Why? There is no accountably on this team. Players fail and they never face consequences. We are the slowest team in the world to enforce change. It is maddening to watch.

It’s my New Year’s resolution. It’s not worth taking the bait from people that do nothing, but whine every single day about the same damn thing.

Nice no response and last word. Especially when you don’t have legitimate responses to back up your previous statements.

I tried that in general in life but it’s hard not to ***** slap idiots and whiners

    IMO

Although after 13 years I finally put one ******* on ignore and the board became much better

Funny part is the dumb ass appears to still be responding to my posts trying to get “the last word” in knowing I will never see his post

I think the none losing season thing is a two edged sword , we are always slightly above average but that gets you a low 20's draft pick not exactly where you find the QB that can lead the team for the next 15 yrs. That better than average makes it hard to make big decisions with the false belief that they are just a few tweaks away from contending.
They are locked into better than average.
Oline has some good pieces and maybe Jones improves and Fautanu becomes a solid tackle maybe next year they make a big improvement.
Dline Heyward has played great this yr but has to regress at some point, Benton and Ogunjobi look good but depth behind the starters is questionable at best . I don t think Loudermilk is the next Kiesel ready to take over.
Hate to say it but even before he sprained his ankle Watt is being blocked more n more by one guy he is 30 and has played a hell of lot by the time they fix the oline replace Cam and get another CB and a legit WR group and a not 35 yr old QB Watt might be used up.
Still a lot of work to be done to be a real contender.

This team relies on big plays and great effort. But i think our scheme (defense and probably offense too) can easily be countered so when guys get hurt late in the year we suffer losses. This three game stretch was tough but we got beat pretty good in all three. And we couldnt overcome the sacks and turnovers.

im ready for a change of HC and a more structured system so we can counter some of these playoff teams.

Or maybe our players suck and its not Tomlin’s fault lol
