Steelers can make some serious noise in the playoffs this season ?

Just have to ride good vibes of James Conner and #7.

Win this weekend and I think the Steelers get the 2 seed and we can redeem ourselves against the Chiefs.

Of course, but I think that almost every year. With Tomlin and Ben, we can beat any team in the league, but we can also lose to any team in the league and look beyond awful doing it. Which team will show up in the playoffs remains to be seen. But yes, we can absolutely make some noise in the playoffs. It's going to have to be an awful lot of noise though because the Saints, Rams and Chiefs all look incredible. SD and NE are no slouches either. There's more competition this year than most years, so we're going to have to be at our best come January

What does winning this weekend have to with the second seed. That’ll come down to chargers/pats/saints.

They're not, but we do play them. Winning or losing to them will play a factor in whether we get a bye or not

Nether are even top ten teams. Both are still only relevant because they have elite QBs so you can never count either out.

If Steelers go 2-1 vs. Chargers, Saints and Patriots... then yes. Steelers should make a good run.

If you match another team in wins, the tie is like a half win. If you match a team in losses, the tie is like a half loss.

Should Steelers and KC both have 13 wins, Steelers get tie breaker.

Should Steelers and Pats both have 4 losses, Pats get...ugh.

The Cheats look the worst out of the 3...Actually they look worse than they have a in long time...Granted they haven't had Gronk, But they look old...Especially Marsha

Yeah, but Patriots just lost and they always seem to play good football after a defeat. We'll see.

While this is obviously a big thing , I think the O line staying healthy is bigger and dare I say the more Gilbert stays off the field the better .

Regardless of how bad they look, we have been saying they are done for years, yet have been to 3 superbowls out of the past 4 and won 2.

I was listening to NFL network the other day and they were saying a tie is essentially a win. If we were to finish 9-6-1 against a 10-6 team it would go to a tue breaker scenario. I didn't realize that myself. I guess they count the losses. I feel we can absorb 2 more losses as long as it doesn't come against NE and or Chargers/Bengals depending on where those teams are record wise. They would be the only competition in play for the 2 seed. We need to go 5-2 in our last 7 and beat NE for one of those wins.

that doesn't sound right lol. I think 9-6-1 beats 9-7 but not 10-6 because thats one more win.
