It help big time but their defense was far to be a one man show too.Their secondary was great but their linebacker are much better now

Not only am I concerned about the oline. I'm concerned about the whole team. Khan set us up for success ... player upon player ... time after time. But, what do we have to show for it? Mediocrity and poor play! The coaching staff is just as important as the players. Being that our HC isn't or can't call plays.

But our coach will hopefully get us to 500 to keep his streak going. That’s all that matters,, right?

Seems to be the case, but I have a bad feeling his streak will end this year

    Correct.

Worked under center in the case of success. If that wasn't to be the case, how come he has still been a starter this whole time? Clearly not working from under center but from shotgun.

Khan's picks looked good on paper, but if Jones turns out to be a bust he certainly doesn't just get a pass in my book. I'm reserving judgement on Khan.

Yeah, he was always the best Center on the team. We just like to further complicate an already difficult situation by playing a backup G at Center first.

I have been concerned for last 5 years. The oline is like a MAC conference line. Cant pass protect at all. Odds of breaking 8 wins is like zero with this crap o and toughest schedule in league

I don't know who makes those decisions but they've been consistently poor for years now.

Gotta disagree that the "reason" the Cheifs won the SB is ONLY bc of Pat Mahomes.

Don't forget that they have a Hall of Fame Coach in Andy Reid. They also have a solid O Line that gives PM time to throw. They also have an effective running game, based on the HC who hires competent staff around him (All great head coaches, surround themselves with great assistants- FACT)- so playcalling is to their strengths! But..... it's not all on the O either. The defense made plays and quite simply, held opponents out of the endzone. And the ol' cliche, it "takes all 3 phases". Their Special Teams are very effective and efficient. All of these= SB team!

I watching the 2005 playoff game at the colts, cause, you know, it's the best game I've ever seen. It's here:

One huge thing that sticks out is how disciplined the OL and the whole offense looked. They don't look confused on hardly any plays. It's been years and years since the O looked this "practiced" and not-confused.

    .......

I mean having a College Guard play only four games as a Center in college play a position he is completely foreign to worked wonders the first time!!!
