Stopping the run just got harder. If they sell out to stop it, they’ll shred the secondary. And I dont see how we can trade scores all game with our offense to keep up.

One thing is for certain our brilliant Defensive minded HC won’t have any ideas.

My only hope is they make Ramsey a full time safety and that somehow brings cohesion to the secondary.

I would bring up Pierre and Beanie Bishop to get more speed into the secondary.

Hope to be lucky with the turnovers, similar to the pats games.....The colts have only 4 turnovers on offense this year.Maybe it will be one of those games but if this is not the case, the steelers don't have a prayer against this offense. It will also be a coaching clinic by the colts too

He'll blame the offense after the Colts put up 40, and 500 yards of offense. Like he always does.

Captain blame shifter - it's YOUR "legendary" defense you clown, and it has been for years.

Old school Dick LeBeau 3-4 fire zone blitz defense. Put Harmon, Black, and Heyward on the line tell them the LOS is the ground they defend. Highsmith and Watt blitz off the edge. Queen and Holcomb 4-6 yards behind the DL and their whole focus is Taylor. I dont care if there is a hole on the left side if Taylor isn't moving towards it then dont move. Make Warren and the WRs fight to get to free space. Then get creative have Watt and Holcomb switch, have Herbig and Watt on the same side. Get creative on blitzing but dont play subpackage football that puts piss poor tacklers in instead of big men to clog up the middle. HIT EVERYONE! They may win by 30 points but make it the hardest 30 point victory they ever had.

Tackling would be a nice start. Tackle the ball carrier when he’s first touched, and if our coverage is going to be based on conceding completions under/between the zone defenders and tackling the catch, then TACKLE the damn catch.

Line up with 2 DL and Watt+Highsmith, play off with the DBs, have Queen or another LB run around lost in their zones and try to cover speedy TEs/WRs. Do this over and over and over again.

What else can any D possibly do?? There simply isn't anything else to do.

Nobody has been able too stop them yet, and our defense hasnt been able too stop anyone. So everyone gonna bet the Colts and everyone gonna load up on Colts offensive players for fantasy and in typical NFL fashion the Steelers will win and pitch a shut out.

That's the key right there. It's only a matter of time before Daniel Jones remembers that he is Daniel Jones and craps the bed. Weather could be a factor too, it's supposed to be 47° with a chance of rain at kickoff time. The Colts have played all of their games in the dome or in warm weather this year. Or as others have mentioned maybe there is a myriad of fluke plays that go our way. You never know until the game is played.

The worry is that even if Jones plays bad Taylor is playing at an MVP level.

Basically the Steelers strategy is hope for fluke plays. That Tomlin contract is well deserved.
