Not sure he'll put it on his résumé, but he's set some records.

Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Antwon Blake set a record with his play during the 2015 NFL season but it’s not likely one he’ll be bragging to people about.

According to Pro Football Focus, Blake broke PFF records for yards allowed in coverage (1,074) and missed tackles (28) this year. That news is probably not surprising to any of you who are reading this, as Blake’s play has been atrocious this season.

 

.....aaaaaaand yet he will be starting this weekend and blowing coverage after coverage. I'm not a "FMTI" guy but if we resign this clown I might very well jump ship on him.

 

Maybe you could forward this to Tomlin and Colbert? Maybe also throw Lake and Butler in as well. Maybe tell Mr. Rooney about it. Maybe ask the local media to directly confront Tomlin with it. Obama claims to be a Steelers fan so maybe you could also send it to him and then we could all light up the White House switch board and demand that he address the nation about this.

I hope you are right, maybe Tomlin has been playing the long game all along. While Cincy prepares for Blake and pops in Boykin instead. He's a mastermind I tells ya.

I saw a wet floor sign at the store the other day that would likely fare better than Blake.

 

The record is even more impressive when you look at some of the opposing QBs he has faced this year... And the fact that he has been benched at halftime in each of the last four games.
