I don't see how this is a positive for Tomlin at all. He quietly enabled Brown for years. He got production out of him by letting him get away with lots of crap and that came back to bite the team in the ass at the end of last season.

Believe me I'm not a big Tomlin fan but he is looking really good getting 9 productive years out of Brown when it looks like Brown might not even make it to game one with the Raiders.

Actually, weed wasn't his only problem. Regular joe couldn't give up the blow.

My son has an AB jersey for sale. Any takers? You could make a nice toilet cover for the man cave.

Another view could be that Tomlin did an masterful job of keeping things in check well enough to get a string of near MVP-worthy seasons out of Brown before things imploded, and he did it by understanding when/how to address discipline. It seems clear that the Raiders’ “by the book” disciplinary approach isn’t going very well so far.

Seriously, nine years, 74 tds, 11,000+ yds while the Raiders might not get a single snap is somehow not a plus for Tomlin/Colbert?

    That's ridiculous.

It may be the greatest coaching feat since Dean Smith held MJ to less than 20 pts/game at UNC.

And how many superbowl rings did he bring to Pittsburgh? Oh yeah, that's right, none.

Not that I agree with this but Rice was a pretty respectable guy in comparison to AB.

Here's another take from the always eloquent Shannon Sharpe (I love that guy). Something that no one has addressed, but I'm sure that the more veteran players in the league are fully aware.

Same here regarding Shannon Sharpe. Cannot get enough of him. Undisputed is arguably Fox Sports greatest sports show of the past decade.

He and Skip Bayless are arguably the best in the buisness. Few other sports shows can challenge them. Even fewer can compete.

Yeah I don't think Rice ever walked up to Bill Walsh at practice and tried to punch him in the face.

There was a lot more respect in the league back then. Not so much anymore.

Tomlinson looks worst now. It means he was the one that turned the best receiver in the league into a ***** ass diva. He let AB turn into this

The final straw was AB telling Mayock he had the fourth overall pick and got the third-best defensive lineman out of Clemson with it

    Are you kidding me?

Are you absolving AB of being a diva and putting it on Tomlinson(sic)?

Call me crazy, but I don't recall other star players turning into this much of problem under Tomlinson(sic).

It's time for the league to step in and get AB a comprehensive mental health evaluation, before he hurts himself or others. I thought it should have been done last year when the furniture throwing lawsuit surfaced.

one thing I am tired of hearing is that AB;s feet injury was an "accident"......get the ef outta here...he is a grown man responsible for his actions...he didnt accidentally enter a hypo chamber without proper footwear..he was ****in around...his fault..his fault..his own MFfffin fault...

Only if he learned anything from the Chad Scott (antonio's) God father debacle. Never know with that team though.
