AB "freed" himself of $30M in guarantees from the Raiders and $15M in guarantees from the Patriots basically by a) not playing or b) being a horrible person. Given that I'm not sure why anyone at this point would think the Steelers should have tried to hold him to his contract rather than get while the gettin' was good, or at least as good as it was going to get.

All of his behavior in the last 8 months or so is not really surprising. As Steel Elvis has pointed out, it's just more of the same.

He is on a twitter melt down right now, attacked the NFL, Owners, NFLPA and is crying about being cheated out of his 40 million and going after Kraft and Ben for their light punishment's for crimes worse than his. My god the dude is crazy.

Just a guess, but maybe this meltdown is a direct result of Rosenhaus telling him no one is interested.

No doubt. The timing is no coincidence either trying to grab the spotlight on a historic Sunday morning that is seeing unprecedented numbers of new QB starts, legit storylines and compelling matchups. It's pure AB look at me move

Vince McMahon maybe. NFL will keep their nose clean with this toxic time in ABs life.

Truth. It's all accurate, but probably not helping his cause. Although he's says he's done with the league, so maybe he has no cause.

Steelers, Raiders, and Pats need to have extra security and be on high alert. No joke. He’s an unstable disgruntled ex employee.

How you know AB is crazy: He still hasn't figured out that the only common denominator in all of his troubles is HIM.

    Now he's "quitting" the NFL?

Can rock bottom be far off?

AB is now: out of money, has little prospect of Signing with anyone else, a narcissist who has no stage to show off. His gravy train friends will just ship. His life will increasing be spent dealing with lawyers who have nothing but bad news and lawsuits to discuss with him.

I wonder if the equivalent of OJ-in-the-Bronco is just around the corner.
