Now, I'm really upset with colbert. We had a chance to get a 1st rd pick for brown and he turn it down. We can't beat the patsies anyway so why not make the deal.

I think he was still going over there to work on plays lol. Once he sent the new text I knew it was bye bye time. Guy needs mental help beyond any attitude. Had he paid the artist for the painting it wouldn't have been an issue. Keep screwing teammates and people you hire and Karma will get you. Wonder if Both Pats and Steelers are still paying for him. Pats had 9 days or had to pay the 9 or 4.5 mill because it was a two year deal.

Guess he should have just kept his mouth shut and did his job for Steelers. He had it made.

I said the same thing with the Packers refused to trade Favre to the Vikings... The Vikes offered more than the Jets...Packers took Jets offer....then Favre ends up on the Vikings before it was over anyway.

If you have a chance to make your team better...you make your team better...and not worry about anyone else.

What happened to them not living in their fears? It's cowardly to turn down a 1st from the Pats and take a 3rd and 5th instead. cowardly and stupid

Hindsight is 20/20. Ideally I would imagine Colbert pictures the Steelers competing this year. I can understand not making the move just because it’s the Pats. But I also understand and agree with your point of view. But yeah it would have been sweet to have that pick. Especially since we just traddd ours.

I actually feel bad for AB. As much as we all loved him as a Steeler it is so sad to see him in this self-destructive spiral. If he is guilty of all these accusations (unfortunately I do believe he is) he deserves everything he has coming to him. Either way, he is in need of serious help. I pray he gets the help he needs.

I agree. No way he plays this year. He is too hot to touch right now. He will wait until things cool off, do some PR work by getting some help and probably sign with someone late next spring. Right now his agent should be telling him to shut up and go on a long vacation. Get out of the limelight and lay low.

As for AB himself, the guy is a tool but he is a mixed up guy who has some serious issues. Just like an addict ruins their life on drugs or alcohol that in turn controls their behavior, he is the same only that it is the media that is his drug of choice along with a thing called ego.

A broken record if you will in that this scenario keeps playing out year after year in any number of sports figures. Sad but true.

Frankly, he needs some help. He has kids and he needs some real help. If he gets some help maybe he can turn it around but in this day and age, it is tough to come back from these types of allegations.

Without getting political, this environment did go in the dumper with Judge Kavanaugh during his confirmation when all those voices kept saying we need to believe all women when they come forward with this type of claim. I don't believe that and believe that we need to hear both sides of the story. This was only going to get worse and more pressure was going to be applied by forces outside of the NFL. The Pats already have a dismal image outside of New England and I am sure they do not want, nor need any more negative press.

That is two not so happy endings for Kraft in the last year.

So, his best bet is to get some help. Deal with the allegations and settle it. Keep quite and go away for 9 months. Stay out of the media and maybe, just maybe someone will take a chance on him next year.

Hind sight is 20/20. There would have been a holy **** storm had they traded him to the pats at that time.
