I could care less if he was fined. It's his money, spend it how he wants. But the dumb &$$ was penalized 15 yards. Along with him, 52 of his teammates were also penalized 15 yards. Seems pretty selfish to me. I prefer team first players. JMHO

I saw a story today that said 16 taunting penalties have been called so far this year. The league is trying to crack down on it. It was on the tv in the break room and I didn't have time to stick around and watch it but it was showing AB doing his celebrations that he was fined for. I guess he is becoming the poster child for celebration penalties. I was thinking that I can think of at least 5 off the top of my head in the past few years that he has been hit with. He got one for backing in to the end zone against the Skins a few years ago. He got one for jumping down the goal post. He got one for spinning like a bowing pin and going to the ground. Then he has gotten two this year.

It is interesting that Goodell is trying so hard to sell the NFL to new markets yet will not let the players showcase the entertainment side of the game.

.... that and having Jacksonville as a premier showcasing to an international audience.

He doesn't care about fines, as long as he gets his hey look at me moment which is selfish costing his team 15 yards.

AB's dance last week was just a big F-U to the league, I don't think you will see him continue to do that.

Especially since Coach T finally got clarification on what AB can do and will obviously help him write his own story without the need of strong sexual overtones.

I understand giving players a fine for "humping" in the end zone. What I don't get is Norman being fined for "shooting a bow and arrow" ???? Good thing Keisel isn't playing anymore.

Kiesel got flagged for it once but only because his knee literally barely touched the ground. Although we now live in a society where idiots think that "creepy clown sightings" are for real as well and not just bored teenagers trying to get attention on social media. But I digress. Maybe a bow and arrow is just too much to handle since clown costumes are now considered "symbols of terror" by some school districts.

I was wondering if, maybe, the fine was because he plays for the Redskins and someone might get offended!

Yeah I think the Redskins should change their mascot to a "creepy clown" and then be like "Now! Are you happy?!" LOL!

Exactly. I was just thinking earlier that it's like a whole generation of people have forgotten It while a whole new generation are just discovering it.

The creepy clown game has made it out to the west coast now. I'm surprised it didn't originate in San Francisco. Oh, wait.....................Kaepernick!

...but you can literally try and decapitate another human being by hitting them as hard as you possibly can. I'm just glad we're not promoting violence.

I completely agree. I don't mind a little celebration, heck it's pretty exciting to score a touchdown and players should be able to show some emotion. We as fans do all kinds of celebrations when the Steelers score. The problem is the "excessive" celebrations that cost the team yards. Like you said, that's selfish.

I said it before he needs to stop the bs when it cost team yardage. There's other appropriate ways to celebrate a t/d than "mounting" It started with the goal post now he's "airing" more mounts.. don't he have a wife.

Ref. the fines, i could care less if he wants to pi$$ it away, so be it.
