    That's what I was thinking. When he got hit in Seattle he was standing still and when he got hit in St. Louis he was in the pocket. I'm not sure what he was referring to either.

    He wasn't a runner, he was standing in the pocket attempting a pass. It was illegal and should have been fined but once again, Ben is held to different standards.

    Not surprised, I'm sure the league fund has diminished due to the players modifying hits to please the NFL..so they now sniff around to find other potential "penalties" to compensate their loses, yet the world is permitted to keep playing and laughing at the incident at AB's expense. Hoping AB repeats the stunt at his earliest convenience. 11,576 how in the the world did they arrive at that figure, most likely it would have been 12,000 if he would have stuck.

    Remember when the rats laid a head shot on Ben that broke his nose, and there was no penalty, teams get away with a lot of cheap shots on Ben, and these sorry ass refs just keep allowing it to happen....

    It was a hand that went through his facemask that did it though. If it had been a helmet to helmet that caused it and they miss that it would have caused riots in the streets. Didn't Ngata like drill him in the face with his hand or something?

    That same game, IIRC, Heath caught a ball across the middle and got drilled helmet to helmet, no call. Remember Collinsworth saying it should have been a flag.
