Look where Randy Moss is right now. Thoght the same thing about him as you do Brown. Thought I would never hear of the guy again. Thought he would be toking it up and clubbing with 20 year olds the rest of his life but where is he now? On the camera every Sunday talking football. AB will never let that spot light go. The offer will come immediately after retirement especially since he doesn't have any off field issues and the way he carries himself thru preparation in the off season,I doubt that he ever will. Heck, He'll probably be hosting DWTS.

Wrong. I'll bring it up again and here's why. Often times young players need a turning point to become a leader. It's something some guys are born with and others guys need time to get there. Either way, as one of our best players, Brown needs to become a leader. His actions have shown he's not a leader. Now is the time. It's now or never. On top of the fact that he's not getting any younger by NFL standards, Brown needs to realize the effect his actions have on the team as a whole and he needs to use it for some good.

    Time to step up Brown.

Oh absolutely, but if Randy Moss is honest, his career didn't end the way he wanted it to. That will be the case with Brown. Once he starts bouncing around the league because his talent has dwindled and people are sick of his attitude, then maybe he'll realize that the team is bigger than any one individual

I'd rather AB have iPhone issues as opposed to having to worry about him toking it up and getting suspended. Sure he's self-absorbed and maybe even a bit narcissistic. But he beat the Ravens with one of the most spectacular individual efforts I've ever seen and he's the reason we even have a shot at number 7!

Apology accepted, AB. Now go out there and beat the crap out of the Cheatriots and let's exorcise some Brady/Belichick demons from AFCCG debacles in years gone by!

Some crazy talk going on... Brown's transgressions are next to nothing. He's an excited young guy doing his thing. He's not living outside the law. He's not tearing the locker room apart with fights or badmouthing his teammates or coaches in the media.

Was it a selfish, immature action? Yes. Is it the kind of transgression that should make the team think twice about whether to offer a big contract? No frickin way!

If the Steelers win, this will all go away and be no big deal. If they lose, you can rank this up there to being a reason they lost. It's just like when the Giants players went to Miami on their off day. If they would have beat Green Bay it would have been no big deal. Since they lost it become one of things to blame.

Just saw AB84 on the press conference and I liked what I saw. I think he learned a lesson which was evident when he talked about his own kids.

I think he is ready to prove something on Sunday more than usual.

I do not accept his apology. Going to take a year of no stupid 15 yarders and no social media BS before I do

To expound on my last. Had a Platoon Sergeant tell me " I accepted full responsibility for something he screwed up on" I was the Company Gunnery Sergeant. I knocked him on his ass and said you're &^%$## **&^%$$ ))(*&&^ right you accept it. No matter how you look at it you f'ed it up. He said BUT, I accepted full responsibility? I picked him up and knocked him on his ass again. Took him 3 days to figure out that accepting full responsibility, does not mean, you skate clean and everything in hunky dory. There was a time that even people in charge accepted I take full responsibility made it all better. Never worked on me though. You open the ball, you better be ready to dance.

Bottom line is, it's over. All of it. What was said, what it means or does not mean... The apologies all of it. Time to show up and win this game. Brown and every other one of em better be ready and better seal the deal. This charade has nothing to do with the pending outcome of course, but it can damn sure galvanize our talented team to seal the deal.

True but Coach Tomlin's kids will never forget hearing their dad call folks assholes and dropping the F bomb on national TV
They all have a bunch more years of school left before they go off to college

Wasn't meant for his kids ears man. I also meant as a fan base. My kids don't hear what I say to my employees at work. I think it's like wise with tomlin. I don't swear in front of my kids kids and I doubt he does either.

Yeah, my kids don't get to see 'work dad'. I mean, they don't see me at work, sat under my desk sobbing with angst.

They're usually in bed by the time the Steelers are playing, so they don't see it at home either.

I pretty much always watch the games downstairs so my kids don't really "see" Steelers dad either but they DEFINITELY HEAR Steelers dad. LOL! I don't cuss at all so they've definitely never heard me cuss. However, my auntie had let my little boy watch Home Alone one day and his memory is freakishly good. So my wife was just driving down the road and Ben just said a line from Home Alone that had a cuss word in it and my wife freaked out and said "WHERE DID YOU HEAR THAT?!" and he said "On Home Alone" and she was like "We don't say that word!" and needless to say he can't watch Home Alone anymore. My kids go to a Christian private school and it would just be GREAT for a preacher's kids to go to school cussing. LOL!
