We had like 7 drops and all people want to complain about is play calling?
If we make those plays to sustain drives we most likely win this game.

Don’t get me wrong the play calling could be better, but the drops are hurting us more.

Threw it 53 times, ran it 14 times. It’s the play calling and offense as a whole. Hate what its morphed into.

I agree the drops hurt a bunch, along with tips from trying to hit a receiver on a 3 yard slant, running into that traffic, throwing over 6'6 D lineman, it's gonna happen. The offense looks so stagnant, 3 pass plays, of 3⅓ yards, and if one thing goes wrong, PUNT.

Is Ebron last year's Moncrief? The guy seems to be unable to catch anything right now.

So if we catch all those balls, we most likely win the game as you said? Really, that's what we want to hang our hat onto, playing a perfect game and most likely beating a 4-7 team in perhaps the worst division in NFL history?

Well thank god we would most likely beat crappy teams if we don't have any drops. That makes me happy to know that playcalling isn't the problem at all. Lets just hope we play a 4-7 team in the SB

    Both.

And that gets you one of the worst offenses in the league. Players just aren't that good.

I wouldn't mind Ebron being gone next season, he drops too many passes, and he's not a good blocker.

It’s time for Vanimal to reclaim his spot as the lead TE.

I can agree to an extent...but like I stated in another thread..the little things. One first down and we close out the first half (no chance for that FG or even ref screw up). We call a run to samuels, lose yards, a short pass, then another with JuJu fighting for yards, and even after a sweet spot we are short an inch. JuJu fights for that yardage again and is 1 yard short 4th and 1...we all know what happened. The drops are bad, but the consistent throws to receivers short of the sticks has brought as quite a few 3 and outs. I know the D is guarding the marker, but damn you have to get past that marker to make the catch. Football 101

The 4 and 1 doesn't make sense to me. Why not kick the FG?

Even if they caught 4 or 5 of those drops they weren't going anywhere. The defenders were all over them , and they were miles away from the 1st down .

Tomlin didn't trust the rookie. I have no problem with going there. I have a big problem with a play that has McFarland on a wheel route as the primary option. (Tomlin said after the game that he was the first option on that play.)

Play designs are the issue. off way too horizontal, sure make def defend width of field, BUT also DEPTH.

Calls are like grab bag vs play 1 setting up a player later etc.

    Intermediate passing game

    Ol sucks at run blocking

Run blocking is garbage and RB’s are avg at best.

washington and Johnson are avg at best. Neither has earned #2 or #3 Wr . They have bad hands. Claypool and JuJu need competition for the top 2 spots.

our Oline needs a coach and youth.

Who’s the O Lineman trying to catch a pass in the end zone?

    Why be tricky there?

Heck just hand him the ball and smash it in.

Maybe if we could run the ball ( just a little ) we wouldn't have to worry about drops...And ,Why do you have your best OL on the bench...

And yes, Dotson is their best OL...By far! Makes no sense...They ran or went behind Decastro 7 out of 8 plays from the ONE yard line, and got Stuffed... He's beyond rotten!

    * And Big Baby Ben still...after all these years...will not call his own number and run a sneak, When Brady has been doing it, and converting it almost every damn time, his whole career!

What really hurts are those drops that would've been short of a 1st down anyways.

Could Ben be throwing too hard trying to show his arm strength? He is throwing a 5 yard pass with the velocity as if he is trying to throw a 40 yards. He has been overthrowing long passes when he attempts them. I think there is still something wrong with his elbow that he is now overcompensating with other muscles, thus losing the accuracy down field. Aside from trying to rid of the ball quickly, it appears he afraid to throw it long too often. Anyone think he may have an injury he is not sharing?
