Lamar Jackson is due pretty soon to be out for the year like he has the last couple of seasons.

I definitely thought 11-6 was possible, but not in the manner it looks to be achievable in haha

He tweaked something last night and was hobbling around. Probably made it worse by playing the whole game and running. They lost his number 1 weapon though and that will hurt down the stretch.

He threw 212 TDs and 210 ints. He also won back to back superbowls twice. Hope that helps

If the Steelers can avoid anymore major injuries, they should probably finish second in the division, I think the Ravens will win the division.

The same. One one point looked like Burrow and Browning were just chatting away totally unaware that a football game was taking place.

I read where the league is looking in to whether or not Burrow had an unreported injury. Apparently, he was photographed in Baltimore before the game with a brace on his throwing wrist.

Huh! No Sh!t! So, you think Burrow's replacement is going to look like a 4 time SB winner against us? Or, he'll look like the guy who threw ALMOST as many INTs as TDs?

Man it's tough to argue that. Bradshaw played when receivers and the QB had no protection. In addition.......... man what's the point.

To be fair, the Steelers have injury issues of their own. They are going to be missing both inside linebackers and both starting safeties Sunday. Fitzpatrick, Holcomb, Alexander, and Neal are more important to Pittsburgh than Watson is to Cleveland.

I do get your thinking. The Steelers really do need to at least split the next two games.

This just makes it seem like you don't realize how different the game is now from the way it was played in the '70s.

Ironic that Clowney was trying to brace himself from landing on Burrow when he crushed his wrist

This assumes Burrow didn't already have an injury going into the game. Dave Portnoy is a jackass, but he does have a point. Burrow came off the plane wearing what looked like a soft cast on his right wrist, but he wasn't on the Bengals' injury report. NFL rules about team injury reports were always related to gambling, but it is an entirely different matter now that sports betting is legal in most places. No one with any sense would have bet on the Bengals knowing Burrow had a wrist injury going into the game.

By the way, I can't find the image online now. The Bengals had it up on their social media yesterday, but later took it down, which makes things look even more suspicious.

The game vs Browns is way more important...At 5-5 and without Burrow, the bengals are very unlikely to make the playoffs. The browns still have a elite defense and they are 6-3.Need to win at least one game but the game vs Browns is more important since the browns would need to win 2 more game that the steelers for the rest of the year to be ahead of the steelers in the standing if the steelers win this game

Burrow refuted that was a cast. Pro football doc called the previous injury a contusion

The gambling side is huge. If the injury would have been reported, like it was suppose to be, it may and probably would have changed the betting line and the over/under.

Injuries ruin the NFL. When my friends heard about Burrow first words out of their mouth, "let's hope Mahomes gets hurt and the SB is ours. They don't count Ravens.

Chiefs, Ravens, Eagles and Niners. I'm headed to the casino and putting a bet on who will be in SB. Won't get good odds with these 4 teams. I'm leaning toward Raven/Eagle. Lamar has to have a great Playoff run at some point, I think?

I never take injuries into account. I'm part of the bottom dwellers in the prediction poll. I expected the other 3 teams to be better then us and on paper they should have been. I am not a believer in Kenny Pickett and sure have not been proved wrong yet. As a friend said to me, I'm always saying Tomlin has to go but he tells me a very few NFL Coaches would be 6-3 with the crap team you have.

Now if kenny gets some bigger balls and his confidence grows it could be very interesting time come January.
