Luck is apparently retiring. Didn't see that one coming. I wonder if all the injuries wore on him over the years and he just had enough.

Yes he never has quite recovered from his lower leg injuries. Also he got married this spring and is expecting a child early next year.
This really helps the Steelers as we play the Colts this year while the Ravens play the Texans, the Browns play the Titans and the Bengals play the Jags.

Crazy news but, you've gotta do what's best for you. I wish I had made enough to have retired at 29!

Man I really like Luck..... I always thought he was such a good QB on a bad team.

Can you believe he retired before Ben, Drew and Tom.

I’m in shock about this watching the presser now. This sucks

Sorry to hear that. Maybe he'll heal up 100% and make a comeback in the future. He's young enough.

That's a bombshell for sure. I wonder how his teammates and FO think of this sudden decision?
Wow I would be disappointed in him as a teammate. Atleast let the organization prepare.

The colts f.o. only have themselves to blame.... their lack of attention to the o-line nearly got him killed, and now that their eyes are open, the damage is already done .......
We saw that in Houston with david carr and so many others.... Arizona had better do something quick to keep kyler Murray upright...... cam newton is being bullied.. Jameis Winston nearly got broken in half .. I still shudder at the mention of what our o-line used to be in front of ben, and yet and still no one seems to remember that games are won up front

Players are obviously free to make their own decisions and Luck cited his injuries causing a lack of desire to play.

But I don't blame Colts fans for being mad. Mad at Luck and the organization.

We did a very poor job at protecting Ben for a number of years before investing picks into the Oline. Ben always gutted it out and came back to play at a high level.
