Remember Hefty Lefty, who played for the Giants a few years as a backup? Check him out now.
Even Jeremy Wade would be afraid of that one.....
Yeah Jared Lorenzen was a big QB 6-4 290, he earned a super bowl ring as Eli backup when they beat NE, the guy was actually athletic for his size.....
He was good, when he was only 50-70 lbs overweight. I don't think being 150 lbs overweight helps though. I remember him in college, KY. He was pretty good. I'm surprised Coughlin let him even be as fat as he was in NY, albeit it was the least fat since turning pro. Coughlin makes all players play at their ideal weight, no funny business.
I love that he plays for the river monsters.
He's like a catfish out the bayou
Sonny Jergenson and Billy kilmer were considered fat qbs back in the day. They were pretty good too. Lorenzen was pretty good coming into the league. The jergenson and kilmer were the guys I thought of when I first watched lorenzen play.
Sonny and Billy never resembled Hefty Lefty. I find it kind of sad that a fork did this guy's career in; it's not like he would have had to starve to remain small enough to have a career as an NFL backup. The fact that he is actually fatter than O linemen is loco. Did I say a fork did his career in? I should have said shovel.
Starting a thread to make fun of a guy who's overweight? Really ?
And when threads are started about Ben being fat, did you piously race into the thread and lecture those posters in a didactic manner? "Glenn," the board's Catholic Cardinal, ready to piously lecture while posturing a holier-than-thou demeanor.
