Its hard to narrow it down to just 5.

I was always a boxing fan years ago so my boxing movie list

Rocky I Great movie shows some of the underside of prize fighting
Rocky II One of the best sequel movies almost as good as the first one
Raging Bull Filmed in black and white gave it a rawness
Cinderella Man True story and a great story. If you haven't seen it watch it.
Ali Just a portion of Ali's career but Will Smith does a good job as Ali

Honorable mention The Fighter I remember Micky Ward as one of those I'll take three to land one hard nosed never give up fighters. Unlike some of the dance around jab jab jab types that win and hold a title for years without ever getting tested.

One quick point on boxing, because there is no real governing body promoters make there own deals and in those deals they set the rules as far as ring size. In the first Leonard vs Duran fight they fought in a 18ft ring very common for welterweights back then , in the second fight Leonard had the upper hand in negotiations and they fought in a 24 ft ring huge for even heavyweights.
If your Duran fan and someone gives you hard time about the No Mas fight remind them of that detail.
Duran quit because it was a farce, there is some fault to his management for ever agreeing to such a huge ring.
