Is it just me or has 1 preseason game for Andrew Luck set espn and other media's on fire. I'll admit he had an impressive outing for his first preseason game as a Colt, and I do understand the media coverage he has gotten because he replaced one of the best qb's in this era. But it is still preseason, the defensive scheme's and coverage's are pretty vanilla, no defensive coordinator really shows any type of scheme in the preseason, and definitely not the 1st exhibition game. I guess with us playing the colts this week that I dont really want to hear about Andrew Luck all week long and what not. I mean I just read an article with someone saying the colts could unseat the Texans this year to win their division! To me that is just uncanny to predict or even think about after the season they had last year and the fact that Luck hasn't even faced a defense with any type of game plan. But I will agree that anything is possible even with a rookie QB. We all witnessed Ben's magic his rookie season. I might have just posted this as a rant of some sort, but I have been home for 4 hours since I got off work, and all I have heard is Luck this and Luck that.

He has been the golden boy for over a year now. Of course they're going to do some jock swinging if he does even mediocre.

That said, they'll turn on him in a heartbeat and start "bust" debates as soon as he has his first really bad game.

I would just like to remind all of the brilliant media types that Mark Sanchez also threw a TD pass on his first preseason Jets play as well. One that went for about 80yds. I would hardly call Sanchez a superstar. It's preseason. Period.

Luck isn't considered a future superstar because of what he did in his first pre-season game, he's considered a future superstar because of his entire football career so far.
